My daughter loves this controller. Also. Works great inside steering wheel for Mario cart.

I'm befuddled that someone would give this a bad review because it doesn't come with a pair of AA batteries. It doesn't CLAIM to come with them, so why would that make it a three star review? The product description says, "Powered by 2 AA batteries (not included)" Anyway, my review is pretty simple and straightforward...A new wii remote costs around $50 - a refurbished wii remote is $26 - but this new iMW Remote Controller for Nintendo Wii is $20 - that's a bargain!The remote is basically a plastic shell with some electronic innards and some buttons. The iMW shell isn't the prettiest. It is a little plain and scratches kind of easily. But that doesn't make any difference when you play a game. What matters is if the remote works, fits in your hand and feels good. The iMW wii remote WORKS and that's the most important thing to me.If you have the money and don't mind shelling out a couple hundred dollars for four remotes, then the Nintendo branded remotes are great. If you want to play and save your money to buy more games or food and stuff, then the iMW Remote Controller for Nintendo Wii saves you a lot of money on a set of four and works just fine.You'll just have to make sure you have a couple of AA batteries to go with it! :-)I hope you find this to be a helpful review. I've used a few third party Wii remotes before (I have a modified Wii as an entertainment system in my minivan as well as a Wii in our living room), and there's usually some compromises made between them and the authentic Nintendo ones. I'll say this much: this one handles the cursor movement better than some other knock-offs. That is, some of the ones I've used cause exaggerated movement when pointing at the sensor bar to get the hand to click on something, which makes this a little bit better for games that require that sort of precision. But the D pad is kind of awful. For my purposes, this is a fail as I use a lot of emulated console games in my system that require use of the D pad as a controller. Wii games like Brawl for example, are going to suck with this. The buttons aren't clicky and sort of feel like you're pressing on sponges. What's interesting is that other buttons (like + and - and home) do click, so it makes me wonder if they purposely changed how the D pad works to achieve the unique design here, or if perhaps mine is defective. Either way, I'm not able to use it for the games I wanted.

To be completely blunt here, this is a great Wii Remote replacement. It feels nice to hold, the ergonomic design and layout of the buttons on the remote feel a lot more natural than the regular Wii Remote, the buttons are VERY satisfying to press down on (except the d-pad, which felt really squishy and unsatisfactory), the textured backplate make the remote feel more expensive than it actually is and the overall aesthetics are great. My only gripes with the remote are that the motion technology would sometimes stop working (eg. not registering remote shakes) however I have only tried one game with the remote. Additionally, the front panel is very glossy, meaning it can attract fingerprints and is VERY clearly visible whenever you scratch it (on accident).Nonetheless, this is a good replacement if you've lost your original Wii remote or are looking for a second controller for your console.Also, WHY IS THERE NO WHITE VERSION AVAILABLE?!

Our old wii-motes had ceased to work, the A button had become intermittent so do we ditch the console? No! Instead we seek a cheap replacement. This works just like the original (you will need to pair to your wii) came with batteries and the necessary wrist strap. Within 5 mins we were up and running... and flying, and cycling, etc. This purchase was a bit of a test to see if it worked now we’ll buy another.

Work great just put batteries in(supplied ) and set up and half the price of regular controller

Works well and looks nice. No issues connecting to wii or dolphin bar.

Works as described, very happy with the price tag as well
