I had to shave a little bit off the bottom underneath the mounting screw holes. Not a big deal. Very easy to fab this piece. Used loctite, good to go! Honestly it’s $12 so don’t be afraid to take a grinder to it. I mounted in a 91/30

It fit my Mosin but the mounting screws stripped out very very easily. I didn't even torque them, it just never got tight like the inside threads where cut wrong.

Ok a few things. First does what it is intended for. Only good for red dot. Halo or over sized long eye relief scopes. Your average AOE scope will not work, well if using correctly or comfortably. Better off using the side mount styles if want to use any reg scopes.

Was delivered and I was initially pleased with it until installation when it was noted that one of the screws was cross threaded . The replacement process was a snap and the new one is on the way.EDIT - The replacement was delivered and the same issue persists. Only one of the screws tightens and therefore the rail is very wiggly, so it is useless as a scope mount.

Honestly easy to install as long as you have a pin punch set you can get at Lowe's or home Depot for about $13 for a six set of Irwin which is what I did tonight but no what you get with the set you get is quality but blue loctite I do recommend which is what I have read about this so it's like definitely secure

I received the item in a bubble wrap envelope that showed no signs of damage. The rail appears intact (unable to install atm due to needing a metal punch for removing old sight).
