LumaBase Paper Luminaria Bags, Silver Stars - Set of 24

I must have mistakenly purchased these "paper" bags instead of the same-price "plastic" bags. Big mistake. What I got was 24 white lunchbags made of very thin, unwaxed paper. Thinking that maybe they were plastic coated, my wife got one a little wet. It immediately ripped and began to disintegate. Since one is now a wad in the botom of the kitchen trash can, I will use the rest for something else (besides a $15 lesson in "read the description, dummy!") and order the plastic ones.

These were bigger than I expected as the one’s purchased for Halloween (different maker) were much smaller. They are elegant looking tho. I use two automatic tealights because of the size. You definitely need to weigh them down with sand or pebbles. I initially only put out 3 to see how they faired, as we were expecting possible rain (AZ). One partially disintegrated from blowing over and getting pummeled with rain, the other two faired okay. But I wound up replacing all three with new ones. Not sure how they would fair in snowy weather. It seems the ones I had for Halloween might have had some kind of coating. These definitely don’t seem to. But they are pretty!

I should have looked at the photos of this bag more closely because I glanced at it and thought they were cut out snowflakes on the bag. But they're just painted on in silver. Not the effect I wanted. At least they can be returned.

These are just plain bags with a hint of gold color. Too thick to see candles glowing inside. Had to run out and purchase other luminary bags to decorate the carpet entrance for our dance.

The bags arrived quickly. They are paper as expected, but they still are sturdy and with careful packing, can be used over and over again. I would buy this again

I purchased these for a party. The material is thinner than expected but held up well in the winter weather. Very good value for the price. I received a lot of compliments.

I really like these. They are sturdy enough for temporary use or repeatable use. Very fun to look at. A little bit dark, of course, because of the bag color so suggest to use a stronger candle than a wax tea light.

We used these for Christmas Eve and they were so beautiful! Great quality. I loved the that stars were more "see through" than the rest of the bag. Prettier in real life, will buy again!
