It deftly does what it's supposed to do the problem is I put it in the dishwasher and the nice silver coating all came off so right now all I do is get a residue every time I touch it

We made the mistake of putting our old tenderizer in dishwasher which discolored the metal. We bought this as replacement but very light in weight compared to what we had.

I bought it to tenderize and flatten chicken breasts

needed another mallet to flatten cutlet and this one is similar to my old on. The head is big enough not to shred the meat and is easy to use.

This mallet is perfect for tenderizing meats! A bit lighter than anticipated but it gets the job done :)

This meat tenderizer is fine, the only issue I see is that is light and hollow... I would have happily paid more for a heavier version

I received the tenderizer yesterday and ran it through the dishwasher. All of the silver finish came off and it's tarnished, leaving black residue on everything it touches. When I unboxed the tenderizer, I noticed it was very scratched up and the eye to hang it still had sharp metal sections left in it.
