I bought them to dance in but the hard rawhide sole and exposed stitches make them unsuitable for that and I have returned them.

Great sandals, the fit is perfect , I normally wear a extra wide and these accommodate my foot perfectly. They look great with shorts or anything casual without exposing too much of your foot.

Very cool design, a little uncomfortable . . .
Let me preface my review with the statement - I have owned these sandals only a few days.I looked deligently for sandals with a unique design, and these sandals are very cool! They actually look even better on than I expected, and I'm happy with the color. Following my purchase I became a bit wary that they might look effeminate; however, they appear very masculine. They are casual enough for shorts and attractively modest enough for jeans and a night out.Fit: These sandals fit true to size. (A sandal should fit heal to toe falling just inside the seam. These fit the bill.) I wear a 12.5-13 and purchased a 13. I am happy with the fit and pleased that I did not opt for the 12.Comfort: The padding is comfortable for the sole of the foot; however, for me, the captive toe is spread too far from the others to be comfortable. The leather is soft, so perhaps I will get used to it. In my opinion, in order to make these sandals a truly wise choice, there need be additional padding between the large toe and others. I am finding them uncomfortable and would not want to walk far.
