Mahalo Ukuleles Rainbow Series, 4-String Ukulele, Right, Orange, Soprano (MR1ORK)

I wanted to try to learn to play the Ukelele but didn’t want to spend big money for something I might not get on with. Mahalo are known for beginners instruments so I gave it a try. I.m really happy with what I got, a lovely little instrument that sounds nice. It comes with good strings, not bargain basement ones (and spares). The tuner works fine, I checked it out with a good tuner app online.So for a woman with small hands or a child I would highly recommend this as a good starter set for the absolute beginner.I would also recommend you splash out on a buttonless strap, it’s a slippery little sucker, if you’re not concentrating holding it you can focus more on learning to play it. Don’t be disheartened by it keep going out of tune, this is normal until the strings stretch and settle, not a fault with the uke. Have fun, £30 well spent.

Ordered this and received without a tuner in the box, also tried tuning multiple times but couldn't succeed, was waste of time..my 6 year old was very disappointed as it was her birthday gift!! Do better Mahalo folks :(

Son loves it, the tuner thing is rather annoying because he seems to be doing it every other time he plays it. But very enjoyable to see him play

the item looks good for a beginner, but disappointed that the picks that were advertised were not supplied i purchased this for my grandson, and he was looking for the picks to practice, this was really disappointing

Grandson was delighted to receive this for his birthday. Ideal as an introduction to playing a musical instrument.
