For the price flavor was not good. The batter stuck to the waffle maker and had to take the waffle out in pieces.

I had the chance to try this mix, courtesy of LollyWaffle, and if you love red velvet cake, you'll love this breakfast version.It's sweet and full of flavor, so it does not need any syrup. However, for an extra treat, drizzle some white chocolate on it, or spread with a little cream cheese frosting. LollyWaffle also has a cream cheese flavoring liquid to mix in with the white chocolate, if you can't decide between the two. I tried it and it was so good!If you have a chocoholic in your house, you'll love this waffle mix. And yes, they do come out red, though if you like your waffles a little well done, like me, the edges get a bit reddish-brown.

This mix is amazing (and delicious). I just added water to it and make amazing red velvet waffles in my little home waffle iron. They have little cream cheese bursts on the inside and are really rich and thick. It isn't just a colored waffle, but you can actually taste the chocolate and cream cheese combo. I can't wait to put some white and green cream cheese frosting on them for Christmas morning!!! Already did white and blue on Fourth of July morning. It says to not use cooking spray and just add water, I agree with this as I tried with cooking spray and it browned the waffle iron. Recommend!

I received all the Lollywaffle mixes as a Christmas gift with my new waffle iron. I've tried all of the flavors and they are great, but the Red Velvet is my favorite. Not only do the waffles taste great, but they are so easy to make! Just add water to the waffle mix and you can have great waffles in a few minutes! You do not have to use the whole box at one time. We made one waffle for a great after-school treat!
