This is a perfect sleeve case if you'd carry your iPad around in your hand. But in case you'd tuck it in your laptop bag or otherwise, I'd say it's too bulky. This case is perfect to protect your ipad from a bad fall while you're carrying it in your hand. It has amazing cushion and the cloth feel is fabulous. Cloth material has a good feel factor and nice black shine. The front zipper can hold your charger and ear plugs very well. I use it to tuck my iPad 3 in to it and fit is outstanding.Highly recommend

All that everyone said in the reviews. Lots of protection. Can withstand abuse. Use it when traveling and tossing the iPad Air in a backpack. Don't use except for traveling due to the thickness. Wish is was a little thinner --- e.g., not have those raised "dots" that add the extra cushion but also bulk. Think it would be perfect for everyday use without that extra. But, it is well worth the price for traveling when putting in a loose bag.

The price is reasonable, the case is well made, and it offers great protection. I got mine for my Kindle Fire 8.9 and it fits fine. It has better protection than many similar cases and a nice zippered front pocket for holding extras (thin items). It is a bit thin and with the padding, I don't think it would do as well with a thicker tablet (like many older 10" tablets). I think it is actually best for 8 and 9 inch tablets, larger ones will be a tight fit. A nice rugged case with great padding, rubber zipper pulls, and nice touches throughout.

The padding is poorly thought out and is much too thick. It's too cramped to slip in an iPad that's in a shell, even a very sleek and compact protective shell. Can't recommend it. Would have returned it except the cost of returning would just add insult to injury. The manufacturers need to go back and rethink their product. Most people use a cover of some sort and some even have a keyboard. Material quality, craftsmanship and aesthetics are good. Too bad. They could have invested just a little more in development and would have made a superior product. So close.

Safe padded storage case fits my iPad with attachable keyboard (Logitech thin magnetic) ... fits cable and adapter although I don't store my adapter plug in the zipper pocket on the side (too much bulge). The fabric is nice and the case is well-made, and the zipper is smooth and sturdy. In basic black it really does work with anything. Slides nicely into my bags and gave me extra protection for the tech when stowed in carryon or suitcase during travel. Don't know if it's scientific but the "bumpy" padding seems to add an air-cushion effect. The case is slim and I like the seaming on the outer zipper pocket - adds extra style. Very lightweight and safe storage solution for tablets/accessories.

This is a good quality product but be aware it is small inside and just large enough for an iPad with the flat cover. It WILL NOT hold an iPad in a full case. Was not worth returning so I will pass on to someone who would like it because it is nice and well made.

I ordered this based on other reviews indicating it was spacious compared to their iPad Air. I have an armored rubber case on my iPad Air 1 (wifi model), after a short drop out of a Logitech keyboard shattered my previous device. I still use the keyboard, but require a small folding easel to prop up the screen.Bottom line, the iPad w/armored case has enough room, but the rubberized texture makes for slow loading and unloading. Once that's all the way into this case, I can carefully slide the keyboard in also, but it's not any where close to "roomy".As to the 4 stars, I'm not yet sold on the quality of this case. The plastic zipper tabs feel like they won't last, and the zipper itself has me being very careful. I like how widely it opens, and the useful outside pouch, which holds my Mifi and dust cloth, but not the easel :(Overall I think this is a solid value for the price, especially if you are using a slim cover/lid for your iPad.

I tried it and returned it. It is way too small for the iPad Air. I wanted something to protect my iPad but this case is not it.
