Nice Doorbell
This is a heavy duty doorbell. We were surprised by the weight of it compared to our last one that came on our house. Looks great!

Great doorbell button in brushed nickel.
Happy with the product. No complaints. Strong side screws and not flimsy like most doorbells.

Works but mediocre quality
This works fine. OK for the money. I bought it because I couldn’t drill a hole for the doorbell so I needed a flush mount. It accomplishes that task but the button keeps pushing out of the cover. It’s fine…but the recessed mount doorbell I had to return was much better quality…..I would still recommend it for a flush mount application as it’s mostly ornamental. We’ll see how it holds up over time.

Beautiful and sturdy doorbell but it is NOT FLUSH MOUNTABLE
This doorbell looks great and feels sturdy on my 1947 cape. The black color matches my updated black lighting fixtures and lock hardware and was similar enough in dimension to use as a replacement for the old one. However, this doorbell has a large 1 inch protrusion on the back which prevented me from easily re-installing in the original location of the old flush mounted doorbell. I had to build a “prosthetic” because it was impossible to drill a hole in the brick without damaging the wiring. I discovered that gallon paint sticks were the perfect width and cut 4 pieces to length, gorilla glueing them together to form a block which I clamped and let sit overnight. Next I cut a hole with a 3/4 spade bit that would accept the protrusion and painted it white to match the house paint. I drilled pilot holes that aligned with the original doorbell installation and screwed the block only to the house using the original doorbell screws which fortunately would be covered by the new doorbell. With the block attached, I drilled pilot holes for the new decorative screws provided with the new doorbell and tightened with a regular screwdriver. The provided screws were too short to go thru the doorbell and mounting block and house and didn’t align with the old holes anyway. It took a lot of doing but it was worth the effort.

Nothing fancy.
The doorbell is a basic metal with clean lines. Looks great beside my door.
