The blanket lift is fairly sturdy, I have a sheet, thin blanket and thin comforter on it and it does not sway. I would not try heavy covers. The adjustment is fairly easy, but I wish it could go lower. I have it mounted between the mattress and the covers, making it much, much higher than it needs to be. I put a heating pad under my feet since that covered foot area will be hard to heat, even with an electric blanket. The bars seem wide enough on my double bed. My feet may touch them as I adjust myself. I tried a narrow one and it sucked! Pro, it works well! Con, it needs more lowered holes. I would buy it again, which is the highest praise I can give.

I dislike having heavy quilts on my feet. I purchased this blanket lifter in hopes that it would solve the problem. It has worked as advertised. It is light, easy to assemble, yet strong enough to lift the blankets as expected. It slides beneath the foot of the mattress with no difficulty and is easy to remove. Five stars.

It is slightly flimsy & not sure that it would work under a very heavy set of blankets in winter. Even with the adjustable features, it is almost too tall if I fit the one side under my mattress & almost too short if I place it on the floor. I found it useful for me, but not sure that it would work for everyone.

It is not what I was expecting at all, but it will work for what I need in the bed. I will not be able to use it on the couch but I found something else that will work just as well.This holds the blanket up off my feet which is what I was looking for.This is the perfect item for the bed.Thank you for showing me different options.

I LOVE this blanket lifter!! It WORKS!! Just wish I had bought it years ago!! The pressure of bedding is no longer heavy on my feet & my feet still remain warm & comfy! THANK YOU!!

Unlike many reviews that stated there were no instructions or clips in the box, mine arrived with both. During the final assembly I found that one of the risers (part C in the instructions) did not have all ten holes drilled in a line. Five of the wholes were lined up, but the other 5 holes were not lined up with the other holes (approx 1/3 inch). The spring pin in part B has no hole to lock into. Yes, I could drill new holes myself, but it would mix with the holes that were drilled incorrectly, thus elongating the holes. I looked up the manufacturers web site, but it is all in Chinese.Even assembled with just one spring pin not engaged this product is very flimsy. It doesn't appear to be able to hold the weight of the blankets and comforter.I am sending this back to Amazon and getting my money back. It is not worth the $56 it cost me.

Well made.but to high for hospital bed.It needs to have more of adjustment for thinner mattresses

I thought this because my husband was confined to a bed and the covers or weighing heavy on him this is worked great he just slide it in between your mattresses and put the blanket over it and then there’s no pressure on their feet at all this is really a wonderful item to have when you have someone that can find in a bed
