It’s not an air conditioner, should be called cooling fan; name is misleading. More like a fan with humidifier in one. When you pour water or water with ice it give off a mist like a humidifier and the air feels cool. Not meant to cool off a room. Meant as a personal fan to cool you off like if you’re at home in office or at an actual office. It is noisy, may be a deal breaker for some people. It connects to an outlet not battery powered in case you were wondering. Bought it for the hurricane coming and I have a generator so the power is not an issue. Gave it 5 stars because it works, just ask yourself why you want/need it and see if it meets your needs.

This is an excellant personal cooler. I tried adding a little ice to the tray and the mist was downright frigid. Not for a whole room but set on table while watching a movie is very nice. It is a water mister so you will need a face cloth or something similar to put underneath it, but its just for a little water misting. No bit deal at all. I would buy again.

This is a tiny misting fan. Not an air conditioner. It should cost less than half of the price.

I bought this item for my daughter's dorm room, but it is crafted of cheap materials and my father did not want it. ☹ By that time, it was too late to return it. Unhappy!

Lousy-"IF" you are 1foot away then yes--it keeps you cool, but LOUSY!

I finally found the right fan

It works and is easy to use. It does cool me off while I'm at my desk and I like the mist it makes from the water. You can use it without the mist and still feel okay. I would have given it a five but to me, it spins louder than a regular fan, which turns me off. I wouldn't be able to sleep with that humming sound.
