I enjoy this product quite a bit. The scent reminds me of sunblock but it moisturizes and conditions your beard quite nicely. Towel dry your beard and use a quarter sized amount in the palm of your hand and it works into your beard beautifully. For the price, this size of bottle will go a long way. It also helped me a ton with that ruthless beard itch. I was hesitant by the price and the bottle size but if you use the quarter method (which is plenty) you'll be golden! If you make a sequel of this beard lotion with a little nicer manlier scent you'll definitely have my money!Thanks and beard on brothers!

Beard oils and balms had no impact on reducing my beard flakes and skin irritation. This product felt like I was extinguishing flames on my face's skin. It provided an instant relief to the skin irritation that I had not been able to control by what I had found to be typically recommend for beard dandruff and skin irritation. I had even read in many places that lotion was ill recommended as it could lead to further problems since it didn't have bare skin to absorb into. This was not the case! I am happy to say that this product worked very well at reducing beard flakes and instantly reduced the skin irritation that I had been experiencing under my beard. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that oils and balms are not working for!

Too much good stuff to write, I want to be honest but I'm too lazy to say how great this stuff is. On July 2016 I read a review and I had the same results. I've tried many products , beard oil, balm, shampo conditioner. This stuff goes on softtens then can be washed out when ready. Non greasy, just lotion, but for softening coarse hair. Wish it was cheaper , but all n all it worth the price for the ease it gives me when I have been lazy and hadn't keep up with managing my beard. It's a quick fix to a dry beard....

How in the world does this stuff have good reviews? First time beard product users maybe... I used it three times then sent it back. Each time was right after I showered, when my beard was still a little damp after towel drying. The first time I used a small amount, the second I used a little more. The third, and final time, I used a lot. All three times, within about an hour after using it, my beard was very dry and frizzy, and it felt like straw, course and knotty (see pic). It smells and has the consistency of a common hand lotion. I actually tried putting Lubriderm in my beard one night after I showered instead of this stuff, just to see if it is the same thing, and had surprisingly better results with the Lubriderm. I've had a long, full, very dense beard for years now and have never seen it less tame or used anything that performed this bad. Maybe on a really short beard? I don't know, but I can't suggest it for longer beards, that's for sure. Claims to soften your beard, and says "works better than beard oils or beard balms", are you kidding me?? You're best off skipping this and going with a good $12-$15 oil, which is tried and true.

I like the Mr. Rugged Beard Lotion. I feel that it is less greasy and better than oil to put on your beard in the morning. I haven't noticed my beard growing thicker or faster, but I have noticed seeing less split ends and a softer feel. The price is a little steeper than I would have liked but it is a quality product and I am fully satisfied with my purchase. I would love for Mr. Rugged to send me some samples of their other products to try out.

When I have ordered before have never had a problem. When I opened the bag this time however, lotion was spilled all throughout the bag and the top was half off partially unscrewed.

This conditioner is the real deal! It's thick enough to deal with flyaway hair (especially along the sides), but still absorbs nicely into the skin and hair, not leaving you with the greasy or oily feeling that you can get from oils or balms. If I were to offer any criticism, it would be along the lines of the scent - I kinda like a more woodsy scent in my beard and this lotion smells like...well, like lotion. It's not bad and it fades quickly (still better than the other lotions I've tried), but I like what I like, so offer a "manly man" scent, dammit. Also, why the hell did the price jump $6 for no apparent reason? Still bought it, but I'll keep shopping for comparable (or better) alternatives if the price point stays so high. Nevertheless, it earns the 5 stars from me.
