Cheap, good for a quick measure.Is pretty accurate, light weight, and water proof.

This item appears to be worth about ten cents. It's tiny, flimsy and the slide works poorly. Naturally comes with a bar-code sticker that is resistant to peeling off.

Very poorly made for the $5.62 price, would expect something of this quality level to be well under $1.00, very loose would not hold the setting until you could look at it. Minor scale was useless. Sent mine back for refund.

These are tiny calipers and they work okay. They are for teaching children more than they are for doing precise work but the price is right for what they are.

They aren't highly precise, but if you know how to read the vernier scale and are just using them for garage projects, not needing accuracy down to 0.001", then, for the price, you can't beat them. I purchased several for my wife's second grade classroom. They're easy to get a thickness and depth dimension under 3". Just make sure you understand that vernier scale. Never meant for precise machine shop type applications.

These had a 4 star rating from 2 different people, so I ordered two to aid me in teaching my students how to use a caliper. I was very disappointed in the build quality. I expected a little more for $5 each. These are made out of very cheap plastic, and the sliding action isn't at all smooth. It sticks and makes them less useful for trying to measure any small, awkward object. They work fine for measuring things like the width of a pencil or cellphone. Smaller objects might be more challenging when these don't want to cooperate.I think they should cost less than half what they do.

I bought a few of these to teach my students how to use a Vernier Caliper. Here's the problem, the Main Scale and the Vernier Scale line up perfectly. So, this means it's impossible to get any measurement from the Minor Scale. Terrible...

If you need a quick measurement from a vernier caliper that doesn't need to be micron accurate, this will work. It's small enough to fit in your pocket although I probably wouldn't store it there as it's made of plastic. Accurate to about .5mm. Does inside, outside, and depth. For the price, I'd probably pick up two or three of them incase you break it.
