Norton Square Shape 4 x 1/2" Size 320 Micron Grade Fine Grit Grade India Sharpening Stone

I bought this to stone the Langdon hammer for the fix for the short reset trigger bar. I have the Italian model which sometimes won't fire with the bar. Stoning the hammer is the "new" solution to the problem. Turns out on mine it fixed it but wouldn't then fire in single action which required stoning the trigger bar. The bar has a extremely hard Duralube coating and this Norton stone cut very well and fine on both the hammer and trigger bar. I have since used it to remove small blade nicks and some sharpening on several knives. It is a worthwhile investment which will last probably a lifetime.

Used with the Harrison True Radius Sear Jig first step. Then on to finer ceramics.

Good item to have when you need to repair imperfections on sealing surfaces

A bit pricey, but necessary when you want to do your own trigger job on a revolver or pistol.

It has very square corners. That’s important for my application.

Used for final polish on parts

Seems like a quality product. Even texture and square edges are true.
