Fly Tying Starter Kit

I am starting to get into fly tying with some extra time on my hands due to Covid 19, not to mention most of the shops in my area are experiencing some shortages in material and flies. This kit looked like it had enough material in it to tie some of the flies I use most. I watched some videos that claimed if I spent the same amount in my local shop I would get more fly tying material. While it may be true that the material I would get at my local shop would be of better quality, I believe there is no way I would get the same amount for what I spent on this kit. The tools that come with it are not of the best quality, but they are sufficient enough to get some lures made. It's a good kit for anyone who wants enough stuff to get a good start and decide whether they like it enough to keep going. The booklet that it comes with is pretty informative and easy to understand. I still went to my shop to pick up some things that did not come with the kit, buying some cones and beads, a bag of flash, dumbbell eyes, and a couple of other items, and I still spent over $25 for those items.

This is a great starter kit, I am adding to it but buy it to get started. RH
