Cheap Flooring
I bought this item 3 years ago. After about 2.5 years, the floor started cracking and recently began to chip away. I went into the warehouse to inquire about what to do. One supervisor told me to pull the product and return, but another told me i had to file a claim. I filed the claim as instructed, the company, as expected, sent an "independent" contractor who found the damage to be an installation error. Prior to this flooring, we had laminate floors that lasted well over 10 years with zero issues, other than the normal wear and tear. Flooring was installed the same way as this one, but for some reason this one was installed incorrectly. Obviously, the contractor was going to find wrongdoing on our part so they wouldn't have to back up their product. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST. Never have i had such poor customer service at costco or with any other product. I would not recommend this flooring and would give it negative stars if it were possible. I have been a loyal Costo customer and have bought just about everything i own there. I am seriously considering boycotting because of the lack of service. My understanding is that they backed up what they sold in their store, obviously that is not the case.

sorry it is out of stock
Bought this flooring from Costco two years ago. Installation (in a high-end VRBO rental): Concrete + moisture barrier + 1/4" cork, then flooring. Very durable, very nice. Has weathered the usage very well. However - a guest managed to flood the downstairs by overflowing a washing machine in a nearby room. The water seeped into a section of the the flooring which then cupped (as others have complained). I'd give this floorog 5 stars except that now it is "out of stock" and I can't buy the one box that I need to replace the cupped floor.

Great experience
3 years ago, did a bedroom and hallway, 2nd floor. Looks good, wears like iron. Goes together well. Best suggestion is to buy a power 4 inch circular saw. This stuff is a bear to cut using any type of hand saw.

Am screwed
Bought from Costco, installed to over 850 sq ft room by a pro installer. He used good moisture water barrier but yet when the moist got into the bamboo, it rotted from down under. What a waste of money? Besides that, it'll scratch and dent very easily. Finding the exact replacement online or at Costco is almost as finding a needle at the hays stacks. I might end up replacing the whole 850 sq ft of junks.BTW, went to their website and they're not even carrying bamboo flooring anymore. It just says, "current item at Costco." I went to costo website and they're no longer carry this particular item. Screw me. Would not recommend this product from Arowana to anyone. In fact would not recommend any of their product because they will not continue to carry them.Yes, underlayment was installed.Yes, they scratch and dent very easily.Yes, Amazon is way overprice on this itemYes, they warpYes, moist from 1 plank would spread

Expensive for direct orders
I purchased vinyl planking, waterproof and all the its hype for 2000 square feet in my house, installation was easy but instructions in print & by customer service was very poor, & required lots of research & consulting before starting this project as I am doing it myself it takes a long time. After completing the first Floor I later have gone back & put in the T-molding transition in the door ways that I had to Purchase Direct from the Company as the Retailer didn't carry it. This is very Expensive & comes in a 72" stick instead of 96" which the average door way is 30" this 12" waste. The worst part is that this molding is 1/16th of a inch short in height to make it stay in the channel bracket. This requires you to make a 1/16th X 3/4 inch wood strips to shore up the bracket, plus you will need to purchase 10 times more screws than is furnish.

Great price from Costco and it still looks great after 4 years
I bought this from Costco Nov 29, 2013 and took it all out of the packages and plastic covering and stacked it in a room for 2 weeks in the house to acclimate it to the humidity in Florida. Then I put 6 mil Visqueen down on the floor and ran it up the side walls. On top of that I put about a 3' wide blue underlayment from Lowes that had about an 1/8" cushion and a plastic seal flap so each 3' wide piece of the roll sealed to the one next to it. Then I ran it up to within a 1/2" of the wall so it had 1" of expansion (1/2" on each wall side) and then I covered the edges with 1/2" wide base molding and 1/2" shoe molding. Looks great and can be refinished since it is "strand" board throughout the thickness

The Best Bamboo Flooring on the Market.
This is an amazing product. I have it installed in three bedrooms and a hallway in a townhouse and in the kitchen and family room in a single family home. It's very easy to install, it looks great, and it has proven to be very durable. I just bough five more goes to install in a bedroom where the carpet was damaged by my tenants. I looked at a lot of other bamboo products but none of them came close to the great value and quality of this product.
