Tributaries (Sun Tracks)

So rich and gorgeous in its presentation. The words wash over you like velvet in one instance and sandpaper in another. Well worth the time to engage with Laura Da's stunning collection that brings remeberance to the Shawnee. It is encouraging to see the soul of a people reflected with grace and grit, determination and desire, regeneration and reconciliation.

I've been reading Tributaries slowly since I got it because it is a lot to digest.The pieces are powerful and beautiful and really capture a sense of place and experience.If you enjoy poetry, I highly recommend this.

I love this book. The author creates pictures and emotions; there is no wasted word. I find that I read poems again at different times. She has messages that are important and pertinent. Get this book - you'll see.
