This toilet seat is great, it's seriously heavy duty. It feels like it will last a lifetime. It's really comfortable and fits my elongated bowl perfectly. The beefy hinge is nice and tight and the seat does not wiggle in the slightest. You wouldn't think it would be hard to find a good toilet seat, but I've been having problems with toilets seats for years. The household ones they sell are thin and flimsy. They're not comfortable either. Out of the box they wiggle badly on the hinge and break after a time. After replacing toilet seats every couple years, I think I finally found one that will last.

Finally - a seat that is solid, does not flex and stays in place. I recently bought a house and the toilets were Kohler with their stock plastic seat seat. Both seats flexed and were held in place by flimsy plastic nuts, they moved every time you sat down which was very annoying. I tried a different name that did not work all that great either. The problem with most toilet seats is they are plastic, and thin plastic at that as they hollow out the underside so the actual thickness of the seat is typically around 1/4". Flex is almost guaranteed. Then they glue on bumpers that create yet another likely failure point. THIS seat however is an almost 1" thick solid chunk of heavy duty plastic and the bumpers are molded right into the seat. No flex, no possibility of bumpers loosening or falling out. The "Sta-tite" fastening system also works extremely well - no movement whatsoever. I weigh 185 lbs. and when I sit down this is solid as a rock with zero flex and zero movement. I do not see how any seat could be more stable and solid, this completely solved the situation for me. The one criticism I do have is these are injected molded and there is typically a rough "nub" at the very base of the seat where the injection point is cut off so you may need to sand that down. It is purely cosmetic and who actually spends time examining the back side of their toilet seat? That is the 4 stars. 100% 5 stars for the complete solidity and almost foolproof functionality, 4 stars for the less than perfect cosmetic (but something you have to actively look for to even notice) aspect of the manufacturing process. It's a keeper for me and in all likelihood the last time I ever have to think about something as mundane yet omnipresent as a toilet seat.

I would buy these again if needed. They were super easy to install and the seat itself seems sturdy.
