Gildan Unisex Adult Heavy Cotton T-Shirt, Style G5000, Multipack

It's a sad fact, but a fact all the same: if we want to find a reasonable cotton tee-shirt that will last for a year or two, we're very challenged.Gildan clothing has become my go-to recently, not because it's so impressive, but only because the product line is something any of us might have bought quite regularly in years past, with no regrets.I mean that clothing is generally trash today. It's quite obviously designed to wear out very quickly. Planned obsolescence. Yes. In your tee-shirt.Gildan's "heavyweight" ordinary white crew-neck tee-shirt isn't really heavyweight; it's heavyweight compared to the trash it competes with. Twenty years ago, every white tee-shirt you'd find was "heavyweight" compared to now.So I have to scour the world to find simply reasonable quality in my ordinary everyday clothing.I know that all of you know exactly what I'm talking about here.Gildan makes many essential everyday clothing articles, and every one of them seems to stand out in the marketplace. Not because they're so incredible, but because they're just reasonable. And when almost no one is making reasonable products any more, we'll, good for Gildan. They seem excellent and exceptional.And they're not.A fine value in tee-shirts or underwear or anything else they make.Somebody needs to tell Gildan to get with it. Planned obsolescence is the way, now.. .Make the consumer buy four of what they once bought one of, in the same period of time. Make mountains of money.Laugh your way to the bank.

These t-shirts are a sensible choice for everyday wear. They're comfortable and affordable, making them a practical addition to your wardrobe, especially if you're looking to move away from advertising your previous employer. However, it's worth noting that while they are comfortable and come in a variety of colors and sizes, there can be some variability in their fit and quality. Some people find the sizing to be inconsistent, so it's a good idea to consult the sizing chart and possibly consider ordering a size up if you prefer a roomier fit. Mine came in just fine on the sizing.In summary, they're not high-end fashion, but they get the job done for casual wear, which aligns with your goal of comfortable retirement.

Really, it's hard to believe that you can get a good, 100% cotton tee for a bit over $3.00, even with the bulk purchase savings factored in, but these Gildan tees are good tees regardless of the price. They are NOT heavy tees, however, and that adjective is misleading. They are light to moderate weight depending on your own description. Light to moderate weight is actually is good if you are wearing them, as I do, in the summer. They are the only shirt on my back when I wear them (I don't wear them as undershirts). Like everyone's tees excepting True Classic, the sleeves are flags waving in the breeze. I get them cut down so they are only slightly bigger than my biceps and they look much better, look as they should in fact. True Classic tees are a cotton poly blend and I only wear 100% cotton, but they got the sleeves right. They are hardly a bargain, however. Gildan tees on the otherhand are an incredible bargain and Gildan has the fit dialed in. I wear a medium in other tees and also in these Gildans. At the price you can have a seamstress tighten the sleeves and they are still a bargin. I'd buy them again if I needed to, but I probably won't. 10 tee shirts will last me quite some time.

My husband works in the construction field, and enjoys wearing t-shirts for his daily running around, such as for measuring on job sites.These t-shirts are good quality and hold up well in the washer and dryer. Gildan is a recognizable name brand and the material is good quality. He has purchased the bright blue and the khaki green, and the sizing is spot on.He has purchased other t-shirt sets from other Amazon sellers, but the sizing often can be one or two sizes too small.This is a good deal and the sizing is reliable. We highly recommend.

I purchased these to create custom t-shirts with iron-on transfers for an event. White seemed a bit boring, so I was excited to find this shirt available in a plethora of colors. My iron-on transfer sheets are for light-colored t-shirts, and the "Carolina Blue" color seemed perfect -- a very light blue, or so I thought. They are actually a bit darker than what the product page on Amazon conveys. I didn't have time to return them so tried them with the iron-on transfers anyway. They did not work out well due to the t-shirt color being darker than expected (the iron-on transfer sheets left a visible border around the printed design). My other disappointment is that these are not nearly as heavy as expected. In fact, it is not easy to discern much difference between these more expensive heavy-weight shirts and Gildan's basic t-shirts. Lastly, these are rather long t-shirts -- significantly longer for each size I purchased (M, L, XL) than other shirts I have of the same size. Other than this, they are not bad. They are soft, which is nice. The stitching on mine is so-so. They don't seem as high quality as I was expecting and are definitely not as good as other Gildan shirts I've had in the past.

get 1 size bigger then you think you need cause they shrink i got a 2x and after i washed them they shrunk and i am very unhappy i might end up throwing them out but I bought them again in a 3x and i really like them after washing it just sucks the first ones i bought are no good to me to small now

These shirts, Gildan G5000 is the best shirt for the money. I’ve tried other brands but this is the most durable and is 100% cotton which is exactly what i was looking for. Loose fit and feels like a quality t shirt.

I got these for my husband's work shirts the red is as pictured so we were pleased with that. They are comfortable and quite durable t shirts. Not too thin as too look transparent or anything but good for florida heat.

Qualitativ hochwertige Shirts. Die letzte Charge hat fast 10 Jahre gehalten, darum wurden sie jetzt wieder bestellt. Und das garantiert nicht zum letzten Mal. Auch die berühmten Löcher oberhalb der Gürtellinie sind hier im Vergleich zur üblichen Massenware kein grosses Problem. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis top, daher absolute Kaufempfehlung.
