Failed
Failed after a few years, 1 year warranty, use someone who has lifetime like monopriceUpdate: Manufacture did attempt to reach out to me to rectify the issue, but cable was already replaced with a different one. My recommendation would be to reach out to manufacture with any issues, even if our of warranty, they seem very easy to work with.

Works great - Great Price
I bought a new 750Ti video card to replace the dual ATi cards in the machine and cut down on some heat generation, and by switching, lost one of the DVI-I connections I was using. The new card, like most, has single DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. I opted for the gofanco DisplayPort to DVI adapter to save having to re-route the existing monitor cables. It seemed to be the best cost-performance (from other reviews), and I second all the positive comments. This adapter works flawlessly at all of my monitors resolutions. The connector is narrow enough to not interfere with the adjacent HDMI cable, yet not so long as to create an unsightly/bulky cable bunch at the rear of the computer.Bottom Line: Best priced DisplayPort to DVI adapter on Amazon that REALLY works!

No issues. Good product.
Does exactly what it say's, good length, nice packaging including cover's on both end's of the cord. I decided my motior was garbage and barely got any use out of it so I can't speak for how well it would hold out after a long period of time tangled like all PC wires get, but it's a nice thick cord so I doubt it would be an issue. Until I can, it stand's at four star's but not by any fault but my own. Recommended.

Good thick sturdy and just long enough.
This is a good sturdy cable. I commonly look for the cheapest cable I can find but have found that the really cheap is just that, cheap. So , you should pay attention to the pictures of the cables you are buying. If they are too skinny, they probably are made with the minimum allowable gauge, insulation, and other requirements to meet a designated standard. That's another thing, Go for ISO (international standard) whenever possible, but it may not say which standard it meets so I always fall back on thickness, gold, copper, etc. These cables, look thick compared to others, they appear to have copper or gold plated connectors, that's good to me. One last thing, In most cases longer is not better. Go for a length that exceeds your requirements just a little.

Didn't work for my setup. May work for yours.
I'd hoped to replace the bulky DVI to Displayport adapters I use for my dual monitors at my docking station, but these cables didn't seem to work at all. The monitors are 1920x1200 but while the computer detected they were attached, I could not change the resolution, couldn't get them to display anything. This was with a somewhat complex setup - Surface Pro 3 in its docking station connected to a Star-Tech displayport hub, but any number of standard DVI to displayport adapters work with this setup just fine.Update. I tried this cable in a more normal configuration outputting from the regular displayport on my Thinkpad T440s dock to DVI on the same monitor as above at 1920x1200 and that works fine, so these cables may work just fine for you depending on the specifics of your setup.

Saved me from having to buy another video card
First, I received excellent service from the seller. Second, the adapter worked perfectly. I have two older monitors with DVI connections, but no DisplayPort connections. I bought a used desktop with a video adapter that had one DVI connection and two DisplayPort connection. Thus the problem. I thought I would have to buy an older video card with two DVI connections. Buying this adapter was a last resort and it worked! The seller shipped it "next day" and I could still use my old DVI cables. This inexpensive adapter saved me from having to buy another video card. Very pleased.

not working using usbc dock
I plugged into one of these and it doesn't work: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BK8QNY2W?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details#Ask.I've tried 2 separate monitors on 2 different laptops (dp 1.4) but no luck through this adapter and dock. The dock I'm using works via dp-dp connection. Also, hdmi-vga via an adapter cable works from the dock.
