GatorG-MIXERBAG-2020 Mixer Bag

It is what I hoped it would be..a reasonable cover/container for my Yamaha MG166CX mixer. Short of a professional hard-sided travel case for ultimate protection. It does what I need and the mixer fits like a champ inside. It has the usual solid Gator quality that we all have come to depend on. Tough exterior. Good zippers. Reasonable (but not excessive) padding. The only thing I continue to be concerned for are bumps that would break knobs, but...it is a soft-sided bag and not a hard-sided case. It is what it is and it does a good job.

I purchased this bag for my Yamaha MG16XU Mixer. It fits nicely in this padded, protective bag. The quality of the bag is obvious. The zippers and straps will undoubtedly last for a long time. I shopped around before making this purchase. Bags of a similar quality are easily close to twice the price. Don't trust me though, I could work for Gator and be trying to steer you wrong, so do your own research. For the record, I don't work for them as I am retired and will never work an honest day's work again in my life! You will not be disappointed with this bag.

Like: Well built, smart compartments for gear versus a larger area for books/e-devices. Nice shoulder strap. I have not yet tested whether it is water-proof but that would be a nice bonus.

They provide good protection at a reasonable price. You can't stack stuff on top like a flight case, but take reasonable care and your gear will work at the gig.

I recently perched one from Rockville which is decent and forgot that I had one from Gator gator is better is the pattern is thicker it's overall better I would purchase this again if I needed to

This thing is perfect for my 16 Channel Yamaha Mixer. It has nice padding for support and a sturdy strap for carrying. But I love the pocket that allows you to place cables and cords with it. I will definitely get this again for my next board.

I just bought a Yamaha 16 channel board and wanted and this bag is perfect - I only had to add a few pieces of plastic packing to frame it out and it works great. Love that the side zippered pouch has separate pockets in it for power cable/connection cables stowage. I'm a weekend working musician who also runs the sound from stage while playing so this gets a lot of work - very light - comfortable handles and quality zippers with reinforcement where needed. GREAT soft case for sizeable board.

Bought for Zed 12 mixer and it works great with extra room for some xlr cables and power supply, etc.

This is great bag for transporting computer networking equipment. It fits three Cisco 9300 switches with ease, though a little tight with the stack cables still plugged in. You could probably get four in if you could lift the bag!The bag feels very sturdy and has a soft padded interior with heavy duty stitching all round.All round a fanatic bag.
