Great Glove for the Price - BAD Amazon listing.
Great glove for the price, though I can't use it (this is where my complaint comes in).As to how Amazon lists the item should be clearer if it's for the right of left hand. As of the time I purchased this glove, they don't really make it clear if it's for the right hand or left hand, instead they used Right Orientation or Left Orientation. Which means what? Does it mean if I would wear the glove on my right or left hand? Or does it mean if I throw with my left or right hand? Thinking the obvious that it would be asking where I would wear the glove I purchased the LEFT orientation. There you have it a glove for my RIGHT hand :(For those people reading this. I'm not a ball player so I wasn't familiar how they used the "orientation" term in describing baseball gloves. I just wanted to play catch with my daughter.Good new thought. Amazon did update the listing to say RIGHT/LEFT HAND THROW. But you'll only see this info in your cart.

Excelent Glove - Light and strong
This glove is excelent! From the minute you get it out of the box it's ready to play. The leather has been treated in such way that you can use it right away without applying oil or other products that could damage the quality of this fine leather. After a couple of games played it will be adapted to your hand and way of play.It is constructed pretty well, it's really strong and resistant but at the same time incredibly light making it quite easy to handle. The inside of the glove it's incredibly confortable!!! forget about using a batting glove, there will be no need to that any more. One detail. Be careful with the leather strings that keep the glove together, you will have to be tighten them up every other time during your first days of playing. After a while of using the glove it's strings will stay in way place. For all and all, this 13" softball glove it's a really good choice if you are a weekend player but if you are playing a little bit more professionaly you will have to look for other choices. For me, this was the best choice. I play in a 17 player team and 8 of us use this model of glove.... Nobody complais and we are 2 games from wining this year champioship.

Light weight
It's very light-weight, very good for beginners and occasional use.But light-weight is also its downside, with not much padding at the palm area where it joins the index finger, which is where it hurts most if someone throws you a hard fast one and you don't quite catch it entirely in the web.I mostly use this as a warm-up glove since I have a slightly more expensive "gamer". The leather on this glove is still a bit stiff after using it and treating with oil the entire past season (used for warm-up in nearly 50 softball games, and lent to light use by some teammates during the games).Warm-ups actually are more abusive than in-game situations, so it's certainly more durable than other reviews have rated it. Maybe I got lucky with this one? This is definitely a worthy and economic purchase if you just need a back-up for the team equipment bag, or for leisure play.

Good amount of padding and great quality overall
For the price you pay it's a great glove. This was my first time playing softball (never even played baseball) so I didn't know exactly what I was looking for originally. The description (right-handed throw) was confusing and I had to read it several times. I don't understand why they don't just state "Goes on left hand." It may sound silly, but it defiintely gets the point across.Overall I think the glove is a great glove, but it does feel like it doesn't go far enough down on my wrist and the strap isn't quite long enough. I can tighten the strap almost the entire way on my wrist which is by no means a small wrist - so if you have tiny wrists or are a girl with regular size wrists I would not recommend this glove.I am satisified with it and recommned it to others! Great quailty and build!

Glove works for me..
needed glove for rec softball league and to play catch with my younger brothers..good glove and good quality i havent used it yet, but like the other reviews stat the club is broken in a bit so its game/catch ready out the box. decent size glove/pocket for softball or just playing catch. i'm 5'9 in height and my hand fits fine with some room if your a bigger guy. comes with adjustable strap for tightening if you want to make it a bit more snugged. i got a right handed glove, because i throw with my LEFT hand. so when you check out to pay make sure it says LEFT hand thrower or vise versa. only down side is, the picture shows a black with brown for the color of the glove. but when mines arrived my glove was all black leather. i don't mind the all black, i actually like it better, works out for me.

Trusty glove for beginners and pros
A very trusty glove for a person on a high school softball team. My daughter started softball in the spring and she needed at least an 11 inch glove as an outfield player. However, i recommend outfielders to have at least a 13 inch glove to catch unruly balls while infield should have smaller gloves to catch fast balls.I got this glove because Wilson is a very trusty brand when it comes to softball. Like all gloves, this one is stiff when just purchased. But, after a few practices it was flexible enough to play in games. I recommend keeping a softball in the glove when not in use so the glove would not fold in half and tear in the future. My daughter is left handed and got the "left hand throw" glove because she throws with her left hand meaning she uses her glove on her right hand. When the season was over, the leather and ties were still in good shape with just a few scuff marks from usage.
