Work well, no issues at all
I have two sets as seen in the picture. Everything went together smoothly-no issues. They seem to be sturdy and well built. I haven’t had the issues with the hardware as other reviews have mentioned. If I do, I will just switch out for higher grade H/W. They are a bit heavy/ bulky, but that’s to be expected. They take “shrapnel” very well. My cutting wheel nipped the bottom of one and torn it up some, but they’re fabric and and rubber so nothing manufacture wise there. I do think the price is slightly high, but I would/ will buy again.

Limited use
Fellow stump grinders,When I first got into this business I watched guys use plywood; stuff richoceted like crazy. Bought 2 of these when they were only $210.00 back in 2020. Quickly realized they are better suited for hard surfaces and a few other situations. What I use the most is t-posts and landscaping tarps. They are alot taller and are more flexible around obstacles.

JUNK
When I first put this together I thought it was a great product. Seemed strong and well built. However, after a few uses the bolts that hold the cross beams started breaking. I was not abusing it in anyway. The bolts were breaking when I was setting it up on a job site. I have a call into Sherril Tree who owns Notch Equipment. Hopefully they will stand behind their product and do something about it. Even if they do, it doesn't make up for the lost time and revenue on the jobs that this broke down on.

Heavy duty
Bought one of these for stump grinding and liked it enough to buy a 2nd. Sturdy material and beefy frame. Assembly wasn’t very fun, but that was to be expected.

Bottom corner fabric ripped before use
I bought 2 of these units within 1 week of each other. The one unit is perfect, but the other unit, the fabric was ripped on the bottom corner before getting to use it. I didn't see it until unit was 90% assembled. Unfortunately, it's now all put together & my shipping box was destroyed upon opening, so sending it back is not an easy option. Im sure I can zip tie the few inches together, but it would have been nice to rip it making money first. The units themselves appear to be high quality material & Im very pleased with my 1 unit. I took pictures, but its not letting me upload. My email is [email protected]. I have been in business 35 years.

It needs a better shipping box.
I received the Notch Tri-Guard yesterday. The box was in bad shape. The box was ripped open and had a lot of clear tape holding it together. I took everything out of the box to make sure nothing was missing. Everything was in the box but a lot of the metal poles had chipping on the yellow paint. I also noticed that one of the screens has a slight rip. But it all assembled well and appears to be of good quality. Not sure about the plastic hinges but I guess time will tell if they hold up. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase but I am not happy with the box and lack of packaging on this. It is pretty heavy in the box and the company should do more to ensure that the shipping box is adequate.
