Pours well, great teapot
I hate a teapot that doesn't pour without dribbling, this pot is great. I particularly like the basket for infusing the loose leaves, its very fine holes mean that no leaves find their way into the cup also the easiest to clean the old used leaves out of that I've ever used

Underestimated this one
It was such a dainty tea pot I was disappointed when it arrived thinking that no way could it hold enough tea for my family but it definitely holds enough and more. Highly recommend it.

Great for loose tea lovers
We love loose tea and there are four of us. So, in the morning, now, instead of using two standard teapots with a strainer, we use this Tealyra for all of us and there are many cups to spare for those, like me, who like 3 or 4 mug fulls... The strainer is super fine, keeping even finely cut Assam out of the tea. The pot is tall and there is plenty of depth. This means that the long strainer keeps the tea leaves in the hot tea until all but the last cup. That is a great design feature in my view. Another design plus is that the lid is mounted in a silicone surround, so although the lid is metal, it forms a seal between the lid and the ceramic pot. As the maker says, ceramic teapots are the best for tea. A beautifully designed thing of purpose. A pleasure to use.

Good product
Was very sceptical when it arrived as it did not look very big - but it holds more than you think . We get 3 mugs and 3 cups out when full. Does not drip when pouring. Dont really use the filter as we use teabags but have tried it and works well. Good product and would definately recommend.

A good teapot
Some reviews of this product say it has cracked. The is a warning on the box not to place it on a hot hob and I fear thjat this may have been the reason for ther reported cracking. I have been using it for weeks now without any problem of it cracking. I warm it with hot weater before pouring in thew boiling water to make the tea and keep it on a cork stand. These are normal and sensible practices. There are other reviews complaining that the lid was not glued on properly. Well the lid is obvoiusly not supposed to be glued on. The box says the teapot is diswasher safe and you do need to rewmove the lid to place the pot in a dishwasher. It pours very well and is good for either loose tea using the strainer or bags with the strainer removed. I thinkl it is a great teapot and I would buy another or recomend it to a friend.

Beautiful and practical
I really like this ceramic pot. I bought it in turquoise. I had previously bought the mug with infuser so I knew the quality is good. The pot is perfect for a family of 4: for us, it yields 8 cups of tea. Importantly, you don’t get any tea leaves in your tea once it’s poured. It’s easy to clean and keep the tea warm for ~ 40min. Buy it!

Excellent Teapot
I was lucky, I got mine for £20.89 Warehouse “used” deal, brand new so far as I could tell.It really does hold 1.4 Litres, despite what some very strange reviews are stating. Yes, I have measured the quantity. No drips, easy pour, no problems at all.Very easy to clean with my Sigg Cleaning Bush (https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Sigg-Designer-Cleaning-Brush-White/dp/B002I02HQU/ref=cts_sp_1_vtp) and a smaller brush for the spout.Handle remains cool if you pour the tea out fairly promptly but I prefer a whole pot to myself using a tea cosy, then it heats up but is still OK to hold in my opinion. In short, I am delighted with it.

Poorly manufactured -Lid broke mid-use!
I had this product for a total of four days and was on my fourth time using it when the lid broke mid use, sluicing my work surface, mug and hand in steaming hot black tea.The lid seems to have been glued on with a minuscule amount of (what is clearly) sub-par adhesive. Whilst being tipped forward to pour my morning brew, this glue gave up on life with calamitous consequences! Whereas the product image shows good, solid rivets or screws holding this vital piece of the tea pot ensemble in place, redolent with memories of solid Victorian-era construction that Isambard Kingdom Brunel or Fred Dibnah would be happy to use for their mid-morning cuppa, what in fact I recieved was the promise of adhesion undelivered. The merest rumour of glue, a whisper of hold.........a fib of stick! With the inevitability of tectonic movement or income tax, the lid left the body of the tea pot like an disgruntled ex-partner breaking up with you in a reasonably priced restaurant on your birthday (mid meal - once you've ordered and have to pay for the whole lot). This sundering allowed the steaming liquid to wash over my hand and kitchen surfaces like a hot, burning wave of disappointment and existential dread. To end, let me say there are definite parallels between this tea pot and another piece of porcelain we have in our home. Both have a large hole for depositing solids and liquids, and an outlet which lets the contents empty. However, that's where the similarities end. My toilet has never failed to such a catastrophic degree that it has doused my hand in hot, brown fluid which left my eyes watering. If you like your beverages to come with the gamble of burns, this may be the product for you. If not, it may be worth avoiding.

Solid and easy.
We bought this to help my partner make iced tea, which is then poured into a large tupperware type container. Using this with our favorite tea, we can make enough for an entire week's worth of ice tea (for one person---I drink other stuff). I add five teaspoons of loose leaf tea to the infuser, then pour in 4-5 cups of water I boil in our electric pot. We let it sit about ten minutes. Then we pour it in the container for the fridge, fill it up the rest of the way with ice and two cups of hot water with 2-3 squeezed lemons in it, and presto!Anyone, easy to clean; pretty to look at; and works like a charm. I was skeptical and prepared to return this, which is our first pot of this type, but it's a keeper.

I love this Teapot
I use this thing daily. There are very few things that a teapot needs to do, and so many of them do them badly anyway.1. It pours cleanly - no drips.2. It has an infuser that actually sits where it needs to in the brew.3. It is big enough for more than one cup.4. Its thick walled enough to retain heat for a reasonable time.Plus it looks good and isn't ornate or extremely feminine

A lovely teapot
I just got this teapot and while I haven't had the chance to use it yet, I'll still give it 5 stars. I don't usually buy stuff like this online, I prefer to see the item in person to inspect it, but this was delivered in perfect shape, and is exactly as it appears in the photos. It's very simple and light, but feels very sturdy. The infuser has a little folding handle which makes it easy to remove from the teapot. The lid is attached with a rubber ring and it comes off very easily for better cleaning. It looks like it will hold several cups of tea, which is awesome... I can drink a cup or two and when it cools, use the rest for a chilled work beverage (I mainly use green and herbal tea).I would definitely recommend buying this teapot!Edit - ok, now I've had a chance to use it, and I'll add a bit more. The infuser is really nice. Well assembled and very neat looking. I put my teabags in it, which makes it super easy to remove them later, instead of fishing around inside the teapot with a spoon. Also, it is deceptively LARGE! After making a full pot of tea and letting it cook a bit, I filled a 500+ml bottle for work, and still had enough tea left over for at least 2 cups, maybe 3, depending on the cup size.Final small point, it doesn't leak or dribble when pouring the tea, which is a bonus.

In love with this teapot
This teapot is perfect in every way. After breaking two clear glass teapots, I was looking for something sturdy and this accomplishes that. It is also very attractive in my kitchen and I absolutely love it.Pros: - It is very large and well insulated - It does not drip when pouring (or after) - It is tall and easy to hold/pour - It is not too heavy when full and there is no risk of the lid falling off - It is easy to clean and since the handle is well-made, it doesn't feel like it will slip out of your hand when washingCons: - The tea steeper is a long and thin cylinder making it difficult to clean if you do not have a thin enough scrubber. Luckily I already have a waterbottle scrubber and that works perfectly. This is the best teapot I have ever owned. I would highly recommend it and I would buy again if I needed one.

Perfect fit
Love the colour. Matches our kettle and other decor. Perfect size for 3 large cups of tea - 2 for me and 1 for the old man every morning. No spill or drip pouring spout hooray. And it’s solid, feels a perfect quality weight with good rubber/silicone seal. Just wish the lid was detachable (maybe it is) to make it easier to put in the draining rack.
