This tea mix is good. It was also well packaged and arrived in good condition.

If you want better chai than you can get in any coffee shop—the delicious kind they serve at restaurants—this is what you want to buy. It's spicy, sweet, and sensational.

I am biased maybe for the name, but also the taste. It is really good, after trying Girnar and other brands and trying to find a chai mix I liked, i was randomly gifted this one day as it had my city's name on it. Since then I have been only using this mix as its so good and can be great for travel or even lazy days when you dont want to make tea from scratch. It is a bit on the sweeter side, so maybe not for people who like unsweetened chai.

This original Masala Chai is spicy, not sweet. Each sachet includes 5 grams of sugar. That is almost 1.5 TEASPOONS per cup so still sweet but much less so than the flavored ones. All the flavored ones have 12 grams of sugar=1 TABLESPOON per cup and they are 5 star delicious!The Spicy Original Chai tastes ok. It seems less ‘rich’ and I can’t get it as foamy as the sweet ones (using an Aerolatte whisk). Still, I’m trying to cut down on sugar so will continue to purchase the spicy version and only use the sweet ones as a special treat. I do wish they would start making Cardamom and Saffron as well in the spicy, less sweet version.Overall, I think this is a high quality product.

I am a heavy tea drinker. Have tried all the ready mixes in stores and online and so far this one and its variants have managed to beat all in taste and sweetness levels. Have been getting this for 7 years now and is still going strong. It’s amazing how others are unable to get the right mix as pricewise this is a little expensive !

This cardamom chai is heavenly and luxurious. Absolute, authentic perfection and transports you to another dimension. Jaipur Avenue's product far outshines all other imported (or domestic--btw that's not chai) brands; it's in a league of its own. (It also doesn't have a funky "off" or lingering milk aftertaste like other Indian brands.) Having lived in India for many years, I'm a chai snob/purist and this is the closest thing you can find in the West to authentic Indian cardamom chai. (Same with their Masala blend.) The perfect balance of strong, bold Assam tea, cardamom and just a splash of milk. In fact, it's better than some prepared fresh chai wallahs, in the delectable tiny, clear glasses--and I even suspect it's what many Indian restaurants use, both there and in the US. (Anyone who has seen or prepared fresh masala, ginger or cardamom chai in a pot knows it's not quick.) The only thing that would make it even better is offering an unsweetened version. (This is a bit sweet, so I add more water.) Their unsweetened Spicy Not Sweet masala mix is also to die for. The taste is incredible and guests go crazy over it. I make a cup as a special treat for myself at the end of the day--the caffeine is mild, doesn't keep me up, in fact one cup is like a sedative it's so relaxing. Upon my first sip, my eyes close and I'm back home in Rishikesh, sitting on the ghat, singing with the saints as the apricot sun sets over the banks of the mighty Ganges. This chai is magic. Please never stop making it. Mother India would be proud.
