I bought this flash driver to easily transfer my data from my iphone to my computer, but it doesn't work on my computer!!!

When I travel, I hate to bring along my notebook if I don't have to. I usually try to work form my phone or tablet. What makes this  HooToo iPhone Flash Drive USB 3.0 Key  so awesome is I can easily load content onto the drive from my phone for use on the computer, and vice versa. Makes printing documents in the business center a breeze and storing more than my phone or pad can with it's limit fixed space.The cap can easily cover the Lightning end when not and use, keeping it protected. I like that the ring both secures the cover so I don't lose it, and can attach to my key for easy and quick use on the go. Overall, love the transfer speeds, but i'm mostly working with doc's and pdf's. I can easily use this to expand the storage space on an as needed basis for my phone and pad.Overall, great compact size, and transfer speeds. First one did not work as I expected. Customer service was outstanding with issuing a replacement and it's working great. I like the ability to select what I want to download or you can just select all. I did download the app to my devices before beginning. It would be helpful to include instructions with the flash drive. Very nicely packed and designed physically.

Despite several attempts, I couldn't get more than 6 files to transfer to the storage device. I returned it for a refund.

This is the 3rd HooToo drive we have bought. Easiest way to back up a phone or iPad plus load many movies to enjoy when traveling. I've had the first one over 5 or 6 years and have not had any issues. The same for the other two.Easy to use and takes up little room when taking on a trip.

I love this thing. It turns my iOS device into a MS/PC one. iTunes drives me crazy. I’ve digitized all of my vinyl so it doesn’t have all the metadata that iTunes seems to want. Going into Properties/Details for every song is time consuming. Even when I make it look identical to purchased stuff it likes, iTunes can’t seem to play nice with it. iTunes also does that with audio books in .mp3 format. Sometimes they’ll show up under title, authors first name, authors last name or even the co-authors or contributor’s name. Crazy. Again, I love it because it shows me everything just as it would be shown on my PC. I often use my old iPhone5 as an iPod with this, especially if I’m working outside.

It is not working. It doesn't download all the pictures and the ones downloaded do not have thumbnails to see what is in them. I read other's comments and tried what is recommended but still doesn't work. I say don't buy it. I can't return because I missed the deadline so I stuck with an expensive junk.UPDATE April 2017 - I felt the need for an update. Sun Valley Tech responded to my original comment in 2016 promptly and offered some advice on how to fix it. They reminded me that "HooToo Flash Drive 128GB” are covered with a year of warranty as well as a 30 day money back guarantee." Unfortunately right around that time I started a big home related project and I was not able to try the product again. But Sun Valley Tech still stayed in touch with me patiently to see if I was happy with the product. In April they asked me to send a replacement once because I was not getting anywhere with the original one. I was surprised to hear that after so much time they were willing to replace the product. For me this is one company that stands behind their product all the way. I received the new one last week and I am happy to say it is working. I changed my rating from 1 to 5 stars for the customer service I received and the product.

Finally there is a way to get my music from the PC to the iPhone very easily. The attached cap is a great feature. The metal is substantial, not flimsy. I have not yet tried to group the music by genre, etc. but I hope it can be done, and done easily. Up to this point, I am just happy to have my favorite music available on my phone. Thanks for a great product that works!

Excellent when I transfer lots of my photos to this from my iPhone.

Fast and functions well. Gets you out of short of memory problems with iPhones and iPads. Allows you back up your data on your PC.

This is the third one I have bought for family members and they all think they are great

The most disappointing experience after buying this product. I have always bought 'standard' products like Sandisk etc. still I decided to go for this one as the reviews seemed good. As soon as I connected this to my iPhone 11, it recognised the drive and commenced a backup. After a few mins, the backup stopped and the drive is no longer recognised by any devices (iPhone, iPad or PC or Mac).This was supposed to be backup device to keep our photos /videos safe for transfer to more secure locations. The first step itself is a massive failure!Ridiculously unreliable.
