Hanging clothes on this line for over a year with no issues
It's funny the little things that make me so happy. This clothesline is one of them. The line is super long and sturdy. It holds three loads of laundry, while the spacer/separator keeps the laundry from dragging the ground. The pulleys are sturdy. Overall this was easy to light weight but sturdy and easy to install. This is not a retractable clothesline, but one that stretched between two different stable posts or trees. The tension is easy to adjust with the key that is provided. I chose to keep the line long (rather than cutting it to length), using the key to tighten the tension. This way I have the flexibility of changing locations without worrying about the line length. Since I received this clothesline, it has been used 6 out of 7 days of the week with no issues.

Excellent Solution For A Difficult Space
I’m glad I bought this, even though the installation instructions are worthless. Fortunately the parts are easy to figure out. There was more than enough heavy duty cord. I had to cut off quite a bit, and the extra cord can be used for other projects. There is a piece included that is not shown in a diagram, or even mentioned in the written instructions, but I finally figured it out. Basically you will have to figure it out. The instructions will not help. The diagram does not show how to use the part that cinches together the two loose ends. Each end goes in one side, facing each other. Both ends are then twisted in a little ratchet device that closes the “loop” and tightens the cord. This is very sturdy, and I’m thrilled with the quality.

Works well and easy to install.
I liked the ease of use and the concept of this washline. I had no problem putting it up, it took me less than 30 minutes to install. My only two small complaints is that I wish the tightening mechanism used a wrench to tighten it than just hand tightening. Secondly is the thing that took the most time was untangling the cable once you cut the ties that hold it. Putting this cable on a spool would've made it easier. And one more thing. They only include one clothes line spreader with this kit. Now one would be great if you had a ten foot line, but if you have a 60 foot line one just isn't gonna do much good. And finding the ones that came with the kit is hard to find. You can find the larger ten inch ones but they don't work as good as the smaller ones. I'll give it an overall score of four stars since I just installed it I do not know hope long it'll last and everything can be improved upon. Lastly the kit says it's made in Canada, printed on the box, but the individual pieces have no making of where they're made except the line spreader which is made in China. So I'm wondering if the pieces are made somewhere else, assembled in this kit and the kit is made in Canada? Hard to really tell but if I get five years of use from this it's more than paid for itself in not having to use a power-hungry tumble dryer. Overall I think it's a nice kit.

Very durable clothesline system
I have had clotheslines my entire married life of over 34 + years. It seems like about every other year and sometimes every year we are scrambling to put up new clothesline. Usually the cord used wears out or just plain doesn't hold up. I finally found the strata system and decided why not? Well worth the investment. The kit comes with 150' of line, 2 pulleys and 1 spacer. I have about a 40' run between my posts so I can only get 1 run with this kit.( I have 3 lines.) I actually bought 2 kits and then purchased everything else separate for the 3rd line. I love the ease and convenience of hanging my clothes. I am not constantly dragging the basket along with me to get it all up. With my 3 lines I can put a lot of stuff on there. Now here is the crucial part. THE SPACERS ARE KEY!!! Like I stated before, the kit only comes with 1 but for my needs, I need at least 5-6 per line. 1 spacer will not cut it. They are roughly $12 per 2 but do not skimp out on these or the hanging experience will not be pleasant. As you can see in my photos I use 1 spacer about every 4 ft. or so. Again, SPACERS ARE KEY!!! Also, I purchased the little metal clothespins....and threw out all my old soggy wooden ones that leave marks on the clothes and break and don't always hold. Best decision I've made. They come in about 80 per pack and I bought 3 packs. I don't like to run short. One review said these get tangled in the bag like a puzzle but that is just not true. I have had zero issues with that so far. Now I've only had this system up and going now for about a month but I already don't dread going out to hang my clothes. Also it gets really windy where I live in Indiana and I have yet to have anything fall off the line. Overall I really can't say enough about this system. I love it and hope it continues to work well for me. As long as I don't snag it with the top of the Kabota when I mow I'm good...lol.

Trend setter
I put this up when I moved in with my gf. Nobody else in the neighborhood had a clothesline until I put ours up and then nearly every neighbor came over to as where I got it. Now almost the entire neighborhood had nice, new clotheslines.

May need to purchase stronger support brackets
Love my cloths line however two days after installation both hooks that hold the pulleys bent and line fell to ground! Husband purchased carabiner for both sides and closed loop screw hook now it’s very secure and holds tight; we live in mountains with heavy winds and storms in spring and fall so it broke after first windy day of gust 22-25mph steady winds at 7. Defiantly helps with electricity bill; and saves time do recommend but be prepared for possibility of bending.

Like: The wheels work well, as does the tension windup. Plenty of line. Dislike: the line spacer does not function well. It gets stuck on clothes and has to be removed.
