If you are thinking about a Mint to make Tea, for our money this is the best you can get. Moroccan Mint "Mentha spicata 'Moroccan'" is perhaps most famous for its use in tea. All over Morocco you can order a Mint tea where they’ll stuff a load of the leaves in a cup and just cover with boiling hot water. Simple but delicious and adding a bit of honey is nice too. The plant itself has a lovely upright, sturdy habit with deep green leaves. Growing to around 60cm in height. This Mint is particularly good in a pot where you don’t have to worry about it spreading. Although it’s best known for it’s use in tea, it doesn’t stop there, this is also a great Mint for use in curries, tagines and salads. It’s a very strong growing Mint with a fantastic flavour. The number one choice for teas. Grows to a height of around 60cm and spreads about the same. A hardy perennial with close set toothed leaves, often grown in Morocco, height 40cm. As with all of our plants these plants are grown at our nursery which has been growing top quality plants for over 60 years.
