I've had loads of traditional garlic presses over the years, this is by far the best. It's well built, easy to use and very sturdy. I can't see this breaking any time soon!One thing I'd say it may be a little difficult to use if you're elderly, it does take a fair bit of pressure to crush the garlic.The garlic skin remover you get with it seemed like a gimmick, but it's a life changer! It really works! No more faffing about, spending ages trying to peel it. Just pop it in and roll back and too. Brilliant

The product is very robust and makes chopping garlic a breeze. I had one with plastic handles previously and that didn’t last long before the plastic broke. Would definitely recommend this product.

I purchased this after my Joseph Joseph rocker snapped after three and a half years (see my review and photo on it's Amazon page). I'm very happy with it as it's slightly larger and thus has better leverage, making it easier to use. For some reason it also seems a lot easier to clean. Maybe it's the shape of the holes but there seems to be less garlic residue left over after use.One thing thing to mention is that this can be cleaned in about 5 seconds flat with a washing up brush. I give it a quick scrub down with a brush before loading it into the dishwasher. Most of the bad reviews of these garlic rockers seem to be attributed to people who are unaware that this is the best way to clean it, so they spend a lot of time struggling to remove residue from the individual holes. In conclusion, make sure you have a washing up brush if you get one of these, or don't buy this product if that's an issue for you.In conclusion it is far quicker to chop garlic this way, as long as you can use a brush to clean it with.

I am a big fan of the Joseph Joseph metal garlic crusher but needed to purchase a new one recently. I had tried to get another JJ version but unfortunately they only have a plastic model This was far to flimsy for my partner who really CRUSHES the garlic! Also, if you are crushing anything tougher like ginger. We found this metal crusher for half the price of the JJ version which is just a easy to use and clean. Would recommend!
