I love Sugar Babies

They looks new but are very hard and taste old, even after a 2nd replacement set, which arrived today. I had made an outfit for Halloween to look like a bag of Sugar Babies, and I was going to hand out bags of Sugar Babies at work to my customers, so I ordered a box. My wife asked if she could have a bag; they are so hard that she spit them out rather than swallow them. I held them in my mouth for awhile to soften them up and ate a few. There is no chocolate coating taste; they are just sweet with notes of cardboard (even though it's not a paper or cardboard wrapper), so stopped after only eating a few. I requested replacement and the 2nd box was the same. They look new and the code on the box ends in 2021, which I think means they were made this year, but they are not good. Don't buy them if you are planning on eating them.
