I collect and ride vintage bicycles and the quality and craftsmanship of the Nitto brand is legendary! I am very pleased to have purchased this stem from one of Amazon's vendors and it fits my 1991 Bridgestone bicycle just right and it looks great! I never thought a stem could be a thing of beauty.
I got this for my 1987 Bianchi SuperLagerra. This, plus a set of Nitto drop bars and some ergonomic brake levers, have transformed the bike I bought when I was 25 into something I can ride at age 53.

Excellent stem, beautifully finished.
This was exactly what I needed to bring my handlebars up to a better height for my riding style. Very easy to install. If you are new to this, remember to have some grease handy--you will need to grease this before putting it into the seat post. Also, be sure to match the stem size with the handlebars diameter.The stem is beautifully finished and elegant in its simplicity.

Nitto products are always top notch!
Nitto stems are beautiful and finished to a high standard. The only thing I would ask them to change is to use a fully treaded rod in case anyone wants to cut down the stem rise.
