I have a similar RC car that's about twice the size and goes about twice the speed. It's too much for my son so I when I saw this scaled down model, I thought I would give it a shot. It was a good choice. The car seems to be decently built considering a 4-year-old has been banging it around for three straight days now. It came with two batteries which is great. My son probably gets about 15 minutes of total playing time with one battery, though I imagine if he was driving it full speed outside, it would be shorter. Although this car is half the size of my bigger one that goes 35ish MPH, this car is still more than fast enough for my son.A couple little nit-picky things that don't really detract from the the rating is that the little screw driver that's included with the car is a little undersized for the screw. I wasn't expecting that to be there so I don't mind that so much. The other thing is that the listing says this will drive on grass. It might drive on grass that is very very short (think golf green type short), but it is a little small to really take any actual grass. But again, I got this for my son to play with inside or out in the driveway so I didn't use ability-to-drive-on-the-grass as a purchase consideration.Glad I got this thing. Now we drive our RC cars together. :)

My son really wanted a RC car and had been bugging me for a while. I finally said yes and he paid with his own money. This was a good price and the star rating was really good so I said yes. The car came by 6:00pm that day and the charger was on it almost immediately. At 9:00 that night when the car was fully charged he was off to the races. It worked that night with no problems although he was in bed by ten, but the next day by noon the car made a terrible sound as though the gear box was broken. I immediately set up the return and reorder to Amazon. I still though the rating meant something with this item so rather than get a refund I just asked for a replacement. Bad choice. The next car and within hours had the same problem and now Amazon with take it back but with no refund. Thanks Amazon, I will put it in a trash can myself.

Love this car! Super fast, easy to control, turns on a dime. My 11 year old is in love. And his teenage sisters love it too! The plastic shell of the car is 'held on' by these flimsy plastic clamps that popped off the first time we drove the car. We strapped a rubber band over the shell and around the body, but plan to get some hot glue to affix it more permanently.Highly recommend this car, along with super glue for assembly.

Initially, my son had a lot of fun with this car. However, within a day, it became very difficult to turn the car (right or left), and now, we can't even turn it.Also, I was expecting more from the battery life. Maybe it's standard, but you really only get 15-20 minutes of playing time, and it takes about 3 and a half hours to fully charge.

I thought it would be able to go on the grass but when I got it it didn't work on the grass and the battery didn't last long so iguss it good for the price for someone else

Controls on the remote seem to be backwards (push forward to go backwards, pull towards body to move car forwards). Also the battery takes 2-3 hours to charge and lasts 12 minutes. It even says this in the instructions and it's accurate. no bueno.

Never worked. Screw for the battery was stripped when I received it so it couldn’t be used. My 7 year old got this for her birthday and couldn’t use it at all

I purchased this remote controlled car for my nephew for his birthday & he loves it! He said it goes fast & is easy to control. The directions were easy to understand. This RC car is durable too so when my nephew hits stuff, it will not break.
