Perfect for wrapping fragile, decorated shortbread cut-outs. The adhesive strip makes it easy to seal and keeps cookies fresh. When packaging my cookies for sale, I place them in these bags and then slip the package inside a larger cellophane bag with cardstock for contrast and additional support. (The cardstock cannot go in with the cookie because the butter in the cookie will leave grease stains.) My customers love the ability to reseal the smaller bag without fumbling with twist ties.

These bags are exactly what I thought they would be. I use the bag to put a roughly 4.25" x 4.25" x 1" cookie in there, and the size works really well for me. They seal easily, and I have not had any negative feedback from anyone who has received the cookie in the bag.
