Makes installing zippers easy
I make a lot of zip pouches and use this to get perfectly straight zippers. I got this as a cheaper alternative to Steam A Seam. ( love that stuff) While this product does the job, the backing is not as thin as SAS, its kind of plastic coated or something so the iron doesnt go smoothly over it. Also it smells chemicaly. I had to air the rolls outside for a few days. Other than that it works as intended.

Smart decision to secure tapes in box.
I ordered this tape twice before that was packaged in a plastic sealed bag. Rolls were a little wonky I think from being tossed in shipping. I considered purchasing another brand, but in a hurry just clicked “Buy Again” instead. This last purchased came package in a box, that kept the rolls from being damaged. I will continue to purchase this brand for my small home sewing business. Smart decision to secure tapes in box.

Useful for holding a zipper in a hand knit sweater
This tape was recommended by a knitter to hold the zipper in place on a hand knit so you can then baste or sew the zipper in. The tape doesn’t show and it will dissolve when the sweater is washed.I put the tape on either side of the zipper and pressed to sweater on and then hand basted the zipper in. The sweater stayed put to the tape and didn’t shift. Highly recommend.

Great for pouch and bag making
I use this tape for basting zippers and sides of my pouches and bags. It works great and I can sew over it without gumming up my needle

Great stuff
I’m not one to add glue or sticky stuff to any sewing project unless absolutely necessary, but I decided to give this stuff a try for my zipper installations. I love it, I shared it with friends at quilt retreat, and everyone bought some too. This is a good quality, has good amount of sticky-ness and if it overflows the fabric, you can pick off the parts that show easily after sewn.

Very happy
I am happy with this. The backing comes off easily when you go for it. I started the pieces, and then when all were ready, I took them all off and attached the other fabric to it for sewing.

Completely upped my game with this tape
This tape is sticky on both sides but can be moved if you need to change the placement, then iron it briefly afterwards to set the glue. I haven't been sewing long and I had a lot of trouble with dressmaking when I began. I couldn't cut fabric well until I invested in a rotary cutter, I had difficulty ironing straight hems until I bought an ironing ruler, I struggled to line fabric pieces up with pins until I discovered clips, and this quilting tape is the latest thing I have bought which has completely improved my results. People make sewing sound so easy, well I didn't find it so but it has become easy with the right tools! I would recommend this tape to any beginning dressmaker.

Works just as well as the more expensive brands. A must for stretchy fabrics.
I bought this as well as the more expensive Prym version and i'm almost certain they're the exact same product. Both do the same job and are just as sticky, so i'll be sticking to this tape in future (sorry for the pun). Its an absolute must for getting neat hems and edges in stretchy fabric. I was trying all sorts of tips and tricks i'd seen on Youtube, but just couldn't get a good edge that wasn't wavy. I tried this tape and couldn't believe how good the results looked. The tape stops the fabric from stretching and gives it some rigidity, so the machine can make perfect zigzag stitches without pulling the fabric together and creating a weird creased tunnel. Also great for adding elastic to the stretch fabric for creating stretchy openings. I added some to the unstretched fabric and then stuck the stretched elastic to it and the tape is sticky enough to hold the stretched elastic.Another thing I have found it comes in very handy for sewing in zippers as pins can often distort the fabric so its hard to get a nice neat top stitch. This tape holds the zip in place and allows you to get a nice neat line of stitching. Its expensive for what is a tiny roll of tape, but the results are well worth the cost if you're just making small amounts and want the results to look as good as possible.

Out of Date or Stored Inappropriately
I have used this tape for sewing for a long timer. It is great for my precision work. Unfortunately, I ordered from this seller and found my tape very dry. It is not supposed to be so sticky-less. The tape is simply dry. It means it is out of date or stored inappropriately.I have ordered two lots. It is barely usable that is why I give this particular product two stars. When the tape is not dry it is a five-star product for sewing or light upholstery. It is possible that people who ordered at a different time received a good quality tape. I will not order from this seller simply because it is a hazard of getting the dry one.

Quality has deteriorated
I have purchased these 4 times now and always found them good. The ones I received today are terrible and being returned. They used to come in a resealable plastic bag, which is necessary to prevent drying out, because that happens very quickly if not sealed up. These came in a cardboard box, so already dried out. But the main problem is that the rolls are badly distorted which has created lots of gaps and makes it unusable.

Very helpful assistant in bag making!
When you are pinning or clipping more than two layers of fabric together and using a 1/4 inch seam, it is easy for one of the layers to get out of kilter. This tape helped tremendously to keep everything aligned to clip together and stitch. The only drawback was a sticky residue left on the sewing machine itself. However the time taken to clean this off was much less than the time normally taken to pin or clip layers together accurately. I won't know for a while if this is truly a tape that washes out because I don't intend to wash the bag for a while. Maybe I should try a sample and see how it goes.
