For many, many years, my husband, and numerous relatives on both sides of our family, have served and sacrificed for our Glorious Country. So have the parents, wives, husbands, children, siblings and friends waiting back home for their loved ones to return, never knowing what condition to expect or even if they will be walking on their own or carried to their final resting place on American soil. The day the ball players showed their defiance to our Flag, was the day my husband stopped watching sports.
