This seems like it will wear well on cement.Sol, This seems like the safest most kid friendly, as it is 2.2 oz, almost as big as the softball, seems like a very light weight foam so it won't hurt if hit by it. It won't go near as far as the surf or extreme. Those are almost projectiles. The Sol might be a little big for under 6 to through well but then kids should do fine with it.Surf, this is very similar to Extreme but a softer gel like filling, almost like a soft stress ball. Really well constructed. 2.83 oz, it is a little larger than the Extreme, not much.Extreme, oddly enough this is 2.9 oz, it feels a lot heavier than the Surf. It is a little smaller but much more dense. I think this one should be played with carefully on the water as it seems like it could pack a punch.

I have a Waboba moon ball and a Waboba street ball and they are both amazing, so i thought, " why not get a lava ball?" So i got one and it is amazing. The lava ball is 2.48" inches, which is the same size as a moon ball. The street ball, on the other hand, in 2.25" inches. So onto comparing the moon ball and the lava ball... The lava ball is slightly heavier then a moon ball. While the moon ball bounces in random directions (which makes it harder to catch), the lava ball is round and almost always goes where you intend it to. The lava ball is also slightly bouncier then the moon ball. The lava ball changes it's color by the suns UV rays in about 20 secs (In direct sunlight). I have a laser which has the same frequency as a the suns UV rays. When I shined the light on the "lava" parts, it turned dark red! I would definitely recommend this ball to anyone who is looking for a ball that really bounces high. It's a little heavy, but, as i said before, it bounces VERY high. Every Waboba land ball is amazing. If you need an amazing ball, for anywhere that you're gonna go, get a Waboba ball.

I got one of these and the color change is kinda cool. It happens so fast you barely notice. As durable as a super ball. You have to get lucky with which one has the most exposed second layer. Bounces great. Not dog safe as first black layer rips off easy.

What can I say? It's a very bouncy ball. The look is cool. I honestly bought it so my coworkers and I at work had something to kill free time with. (work in a cell phone store and traffic is hit or miss.) This has been one of the funniest and most fun things to bring in. I wouldn't recommend everyone bring this to their work lol but honestly one of the best things I've ever bought for under $10.I will say we have used it quite a bit and after about 3 months of playing with it on and off through the weeks, primarily bouncing it back and forth the office or show floor. It is starting to wear down a little, and some of the bits are starting ot fall off. I would consider this a con but absolutely no reason not to buy it. This thing is too fun not to play with lol. Considering buying two more, or maybe their moonballs.

Took forever to ship. The ad pictures make it appear to be a full sized ball. Not so, it is slightly bigger than a golf ball. Not worth the price. The only reason gave it 3 stars is because the materials appear to be quality.

The media could not be loaded.  This ball is so fun! We already purchased the moon ball, and loved it so much we went ahead and got a lava ball too. It bounces really high! At least two stories. We also love that it changes color in the sunlight. This encourages outside play, but also my son's favorite color is red. The color change from yellow to red is very fast. It takes just a little longer for the red to fade back to yellow. Love it!

It bounces pretty well about the same as my mega bounce xtr or Wham-O super ball and it really does change color in the heat, I'd say it's a pretty sound purchas.

Bought for my son, he likes the color changing effect. Ball bounces really well, tested in the kitchen and was able to have the ball bounce between the floor and ceiling 3 times.
