Affordable in bulk
I’ve always wanted to find the same beans they sell at the Whole Foods olive bar—these are it! Delicious and way more affordable in bulk.

Delicious beans
It will arrive dented. Every time. Twice, they were so badly dented, I wouldn't use them. I had to get credit. Amazon needs to learn how to ship them better. This time, the can only had one dent, even though the box wasn't dented. The beans are delicious. So creamy. I make an amazing hummus with part of them, but plain on crackers is the best way!!

Don't Keep in Fridge Too Long
I absolutely love these beans. They are exactly what you get at the olive bars in expensive stores, but at a much better price point. However, after 6 weeks (I would serve these as appetizers 2 times per week), I opened the Tupperware container and there was this white fuzzy stuff (mold??) on the ones that weren't totally submerged in the oil. I removed these and carefully inspected the remainder to see if there was any "mold" and found none. They tasted fine. SO, since someone in a review said they could be frozen, I would suggest if you aren't going to use them right away (or within 2-3 weeks), I would freeze part so as not to have to deal with that nasty-looking fuzzy stuff. I'm still very curious how this happened. If anyone out there has any ideas, I'd love to hear from you.PS: Even after I froze half of them (the second batch I bought), that fuzzy mold stuff appeared. I'm going back to making my own, which keep forever without mold. There is some unknown ingredient that is causing this, so be very careful and use them up right away.

Delicious however package extremely damaged and punctured
I tried these beans at my sister’s and they are delicious. I decided to order them so I had them on hand when I needed them. The can is horribly dented and has a small puncture hole. It is not eligible for return so I’m writing a review in hopes that they can resolve the issue. They are not cheap so I’m very disappointed that they aren’t eatable.

Finally, packaged beautifully
I have purchased a few cans over the last 3 or 4 years and every can was dented. Of course, there is always a worry when consuming food from dented cans. Amazon has finally learned how to ship these beans to protect from extreme denting. My can was wrapped, padded and sealed. I can now serve and enjoy the contents confidently. These beans are the absolute best. Add some chopped, cooked broccoli rabe or kale to them and you have a lovely cold salad. Love the giant beans

you won't believe how great these are!!
Expensive beans don't normally get our attention. But my husband and I, who already love Divina's incredible stuffed grape leaves Divina Dolmas, 70-Ounce Can, saw the rave review of these giant white beans by La Maestra and decided to give them a try. We're now so grateful!!The exquisite light dressing is part of the success. Enriched with some minced green and red herbs or flavor additions, it nobly backs up the taste of these perfectly cooked beans -- not mushy at all, and yet not too hard either. Don't discard the remaining dressing when you've finished the beans -- it's lovely on any sort of salad and on grilled meats, vegetables or fish. And if you're wondering what to do with so large a can, here's our solution: we empty the entire can into a large airtight refrigerator storage container when we first open it and then just serve ourselves whenever we like. When we don't eat them up too fast, they last for weeks in the fridge. We've had these as a simple but elegant side dish with various entrees (especially grilled fish), and my husband has made a main dish salad using these with the addition of his favorite Mediterranean sardines King Oscar Mediterranean Sardines, 3.75 Ounce Tins (Pack of 12).Now we're going to have to make permanent room in our fridge for two of those storage containers, because these and the grape leaves have become a standard staple in our house. When we open a can, we order a replacement for the pantry from Amazon. And I know these will also make excellent emergency food (I've even stored the grape leaves at room temperature in an airtight container for over a week with no problem at all). Thanks, Amazon -- and let's hear it for wonderful reviewers who help enrich our lives!

Great taste
Highly recommended. I kept buying this at one of our local grocery store's deli olive bar. I believe the price was $9.99/lb. One day I asked a young employee who made these beans and he brought out this big 4.4lb can. He said I could buy a case of 6 if I wanted and he would talk to his manager and get the price. I thanked him and looked it up on Amazon. Since then I have not visited the deli olive bar. I guess from the store's perspective, he should have not shown me the can...

What's up with the dented cans?
I've ordered 4 cans of these over the last 2 years. The beans are delicious, but every one of the cans arrives with huge dents. What's up with that?
