Great fun for family game night , if you can hold the laughter and try to make the sounds. I could stop laughing. So much fun.

Cute Game
This was a fun game for our family. I know there is a recommendation of teenage or older on the box, but I haven't see any cards which would be inappropriate for kids, and there are a LOT of cards. The most "questionable for kids" ones I've seen: Bikini wax & spanking. There are also things like pooping, burping, and hocking a loogie; but those seem more childish than inappropriate to me. They really are pretty tame cards. There are also a few cards kids might not know. (Like chainsaw, typewriter, and bungee jumping.) Kids may have heard of them, and/or knew what they are, but also have no idea of the sounds they make. There are plenty of cards and sounds that could elicit "dirty" guesses. But if you're playing with kids, just don't shout out those things. I think as long as the kids are old enough to read (or have someone from the other team willing to read to the clue giver) they should be able to play and enjoy this game. On the other hand, if you're playing with adults, the cards might be a bit too family-friendly. You could certainly liven things up, and probably garner a few laughs, with a few appropriately-placed guesses of illegal and adults-only activities, though.Gameplay: I highly recommend you play a few times, then modify with your own house rules (Amount of time per round, way to keep score, etc.)Make sure you know who--clue giver or getter--will be responsible for yelling "peephole."The little wall is a bit pointless, but if you use it make sure the clue getter, NOT the giver, holds it. You could also go into another room or have he guesser turn his back to the clue giver.Only one pass per two-minute round was a bit harsh for us.Decide ahead of time how exact the guesses need to be. (Does "trampoline" count if the card says "jumping on a trampoline?")Overall, this is a cute game, and after a few rounds, it's over. I don't feel like continuing to play all night like I do with some similar games. (Pictionary, Charades, Cranium.) It's definitely fun, though. The people you play with will ultimately make or break your experience.

Fun and silly...
TL:DR? A fun game for those who aren’t afraid of a little embarrassment and in need of a good laugh. The Make:Noisy Neighbors comes with a large two sided panel of two different styled rooms. A sturdy plastic holder holds this folded piece open and effectively blocks a person from view whilst the noise charades is underway. There is a massive stack of cards included for endless ideas (and no memorizing/duplicates to help give sounds away after playing several games; i.e. learn what to expect). The cards feature both indoor and outdoor activities, changing up the level or play. The cards are made of a high quality stock that can be shuffled, but most likely not all at once. Smaller stacks will be needed to make it easier and less card “spraying.” A timer is not included (but timing is required of some kind). The Game:We’re pretty big on sound effects in our family. We’re our own foley artists. This game seemed perfect for family game night. For the most part, it was okay. There was some embarrassment at the beginning by some members who struggled to make the sounds and needed to act out parts. However, after several rounds, things got better. We knew what to expect. Said family members still struggled, but it’s possible because it was an off day for them. There are some cards that are hard to do, but there are also others that are very obvious right off the bat. We found that it was easier to indicate “hot” and “cold” when guessing as cards like “getting a hair cut” is very hard to do. A simple guttural utterance of “uh huh” or “mmmhmmm” was enough to make the game run more smoothly. Perhaps your better at sound effects and guessing than us and you won’t need to do that, but if you find yourself struggling, it helps tremendously. It’s more fun when you can guess correctly (wildly at first of course) and collect points. Not a game for shy folks (though it can help bring people out of their shell).+Pros:+Sound effects game+Team based+Huge stack of cards (plenty of ideas that never get old/predictable)+Major replay value+Time limit (adrenaline rush)-Cons:-Only two people play at a time in a group (you can always change this up to a free for all where everyone guesses what the one person is doing and the point goes to the correct guesser; what we do)-Timer is not included (is required for play)-Cards are hard to shuffle (so many!)Overall, we really like this game and it’s a solid hit for family game night. 4.7 out of 5 stars (rounded up to 5). Leave your dignity at the door.

What is that sound coming from the neighbors house?
Noisy Neighbors is a little like the popular Hedbanz game. The difference is that with Noisy Neighbors you are initially relying on your sense of hearing versus vision and pantomime in order to guess whats on your teammates card. You need pairs of two or can play as two larger groups. One person is the noisy neighbor, with the guesser holding the adorable cardboard den in front of his/her face. The cards provided encompass a multitude of nouns and verbs...such as a person, place, thing, or an action. For instance, brushing you teeth or playing tennis. You are not allowed to talk, the directions say “no discernible words”. The noisy neighbor is allowed to mumble (easier said than done)...hum….use any props available in the room….or move. The timer is set for 2 minutes and once per round, if the card is simply too daunting, the guesser is able to peek in order to watch the card being acted out. You keep guessing until your 2 minutes run out, trying to win as many cards for your team as possible.I love board games and Noisy Neighbors is a fun game that had us laughing. It is reasonably priced at 14.95. Some of the cards are super easy to guess and others nearly impossible. Just the luck of the draw. There was no timer included, which was a disappointment. Fun for parties, game night for the family or for use during free time in a high school classroom. Noisy Neighbors really hones in on your ability to listen…...something that appears sorely lacking these days.

Christmas gift
Much larger then expected. Came in a full size boardgame box. I expected something smaller as I paid basically 4.00 for it! Haven't played as I got it as a Christmas gift for the family to play
