Works great!!
Worked great. Takes a lot of force to crimp. I felt like 100 ish ft lbs. Did not crack. Seemed thicker than another one I used recently.

Excellent quality product!
I recently replaced 5 fittings on my boat. I purchased (6) fittings of a shorter length. I had to order three of this brand. The difference in quality of this brand is exceptionally higher than the Seachoice fittings I purchased.

Brass thru hull fitting
Completely satisfied with this product. Thru hull repair worked perfectly . Import to remember before installing and flaring it must be anneled by heating thill it turns red then quinching in water. This allows tubing to form flare without splitting.

Replaced the ski storage plug with this. Works great

Flares nicely. If it doesn't flare, make sure tool is not bottomed out. Just playing around, I made an extreme flare on the section I had left over. No slitting or cracking.

Made in China
It's a brass drain tube, nothing special but what I don't like is that it's made in China, China make a cheap product and this is going in a place where you can't change it easy. Why can't the USA make a simple drain tube

Be sure to anneal before installing!!!
Installs well with the correct tool but be sure to anneal the area your going to flare before installing or it wont work. Annealing brass is done by heating red hot with a torch and cooling immediately with water. Use 3M 5200 liberally coat both the drilled hole and the outside of the sleeve before install and your good to go

Description not accurate....
I needed a brass tube with an internal diameter of 1" so when the description stated this I bought it. However when the item arrived the packaging showed an EXTERNAL diameter of 1". I verified this. This was a critical dimension for my purpose so was useless to me. I wish the vendors descriptions were more accurate, this happens too often.
