This is my go-to watercolor paper now. It absorbs a good amount of water without buckling even if I don’t stretch the paper. Has a good amount of tooth. Always arrives in good condition - one time it came bent because I ordered other items and they were packaged together but I got a replacement just a few days later.

I'm a professional artist and usually use top end, Arches watercolor paper. I was in a hurry to an event, forgot my regular paper, and hoped I could grab *something* from my local Staples on the way. I was surprised to find any watercolor paper there at a all and even more surprised it actually turned out to be decent quality. I ended up ordering more on here!

I previously purchased the 90 lb paper (no longer available here) and thought is was pretty bad, but did like the texture. On second look, months later, I decided it showed much better vibrancy and liveliness than most other papers in it's league. I was surprised. So I decided to try this 140 lb paper, and it shows the same happy relationship with all the watercolors I've tried.I'm using it to make color mixes and test glazes. Though it buckles terribly in very wet washes, and especially if you use both sides, it's still great for what I'm using it for. It's, hands down, the best inexpensive watercolor paper I've ever tried. Whiteness of the paper, the color reaction, texture, and ability to display granulation are all really nice.

I am working on a comic book written by my bf. I decided to illustrate the story in watercolor and ink. This paper is wonderful. I had an old pad that I started out using but ran out of pages and needed to re-order. So glad Amazon had it at a decent price. These are cold pressed sheets, so there is some texture. It looks great and holds water really well.

Excellent quality at a good price. Heavy stock paper that absorbs water quickly. Beautiful results for our family art projects!

It is expensive so use it sparsely, but definitely worth having some nice paper to watercolor on from time to time.

I purchased a few "Trace and Draw" watercolor books. When I opened up the tracing paper I was dismayed to see it was 2x larger than the "usual" watercolor paper size. I purchased this larger size and feel I got a great price and the size is perfect.

This 140 lb paper has a distinct mechanical screened texture with a vertical grain. This grain will show in my artwork, and I don't know where I will be able to use it. My other reasonably priced watercolor paper has a nice pebble texture that I enjoy using.
