Nothing bad to say about this product. I researched competition/other brands and after much consideration, I decided to buy this one. I will never buy cheap stuff. Very good RPM adjustments while working.

Item has a solid feel and worked well right out of the box. The included foam pads were a nice extra. Despite advertising a more powerful motor than most of the competition this machine still bogs down or stalls quite a bit on body lines and curves. Also, I thought I would enjoy the slow start and not sling product everywhere but because it want to big down under load, you need to pull polisher away a little to let it get up to speed before applying to paint. This process slings more material than my older machine without slow start.Now for the plusses. The machine does make quick work of flat panels. I've used it for paint correction and waxing and the longer throw and 6" pads make large panels a breeze.The two handle or no handle option is nice. I prefer to use the platypus head for control and the machine is comfortable to use, even for longer periods of time. Not quiet, but not loud. Some vibration, but not as much as my old machine. Like the title states. It's ok for the price.After several months, and several cars. Slow start feature that I critized earlier, has gotten better. Initial issue must have been user error.Machine gets VERY HOT after short use. While this is not a huge issue, unless you set it down on your leg in shorts, it does take a very real and large toll on the pads. I'm going through pads MUCH faster than I ever did with my previous polisher

Good product

So far I am impressed with this polisher. The variable speeds work great and the waffle pads that it comes with makes polishing a breeze. My only complaint was that one of the screws that it came with to attach the handle had the head stripped out so I wasnt able to get it tight. Luckily the handle fits extremely solid so that wont be a very big issue. Only time will tell how it will hold up but for now after an hour of use, I'm sold!
