Ming's Mark Stylish Camping SL1215 Burgundy Heavy Duty Folding Camping Director Chair with Side Table

I purchased two of these for my mom and me to use at a local dog show each fall. They came without any instructions on how to open or close them. Luckily my mom suggested trying them out before taking them to the next dog show -- opening them was not much trouble, but I could not get them to close. I was leaning my not-inconsiderable weight against the side trying to force the chair to collapse when I finally discovered the secret -- push the bottom edges of the legs together -- and I wound up on the floor. (Luckily a carpeted floor, and my head missed the edge of a low bureau. Had I first tried it on the concrete floor of the building where the small breeds competition is held, I would at the very least been highly embarrassed, and at worst injured.) They're very lightweight and easy to carry around (if you remove the snap-on bag as I did), and very comfortable even for those with wide butts. We found the flip-up trays handy for having lunch at the dog show. Once you know the secret of closing them, which a one-sentence set of instructions would have solved, they're great. Don't try to close them by pushing the arms together, or the vertical parts of the legs. Pull together the horizontal parts of the legs (the parts which actually rest on the ground).

I had the hopes that this would be a great chair. However, this is the second chair I bought; the first had to be returned for the seam ripping on the right side. I contacted Amazon and they were quick to replace the chair. On that note, I purchased another chair. The new chair began coming apart after only a couple of uses. This chair is rated for 400 lbs and I am well under that. I contacted Mings regarding the second chair coming apart in the same area as the first; they have failed to make amens on the second chair. Both chairs started to come apart within the first week of ownership. I would be cautious about purchasing this chair, unless you only want one or two uses. I am pretty disappointed in the chair at this time.

This is a great chair. I weigh 290lbs and it holds me no problem. It is not advisable to leave this chair out in the rain even though the frame is aluminum, as the rivets at the hinges are not. And rust almost immediately upon exposure to moisture. You should probably spray the rivets with WD40 or apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to protect them from the elements.

This is my first purchase of a Ming Mark Patio Chair and after receiving them, I bought 2, they are very well built and sturdy. They fold up and unfold easily with all the conveniences needed, table with drink holder on one side and the other side includes an insulated pouch for your beverages and many pockets for your all of your ancillary items. A definite must for RVing if you want a chair that will last. It was a little pricey but for the most part you most always get what you pay for. If you want to pay less, buy one of the cheaper ones. Unfortunately, you may end up paying more in the long run when the cheaper ones don't last. For anyone that does buy these chairs, I purchased a patio chair storage case from Camping World that would fit both of these chairs, a great way to store and carry the chairs while traveling.

I like this chair 100 % I have looked for this chair for several yeas to replace my old one.I have had this chair for over 10 years. if it is available to sit in you may have to ask someone to move out of it so you can sit down !!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered one of the Ming's Mark heavy duty folding director's chair hoping I would not be disappointed in the size,stability or quality of the chair. To my complete satisfaction this chair is everything I wanted.So much so, I ordered a second chair for my better half.The chair is roomy, sturdy and has the extra amenities like the cushioned arm rest, table, drink holderand tote bag to hold whatever you deem necessary for your comfort. It is worth the extra money forits comfort and conveniences. Avoid an injury and save your dignity from taking a fall along with the rest of yourselfby not taking a chance with a lesser quality, saggy bottom canvas folding chair that you can hardly manage to get out of!~ The Boss

I purchased this product for my wife who has recently had hip surgery to watch our sons games. this chair worked very well and was comfortable for her given her restrictions after hip replacement. This chair has been used for 15 baseball games, has not been in weather or mistreated by children or inappropriate use and yesterday the seat riped out at the seam. This is a huge price to pay for 15 game and is rediculous. We have been attending games every summer for 6 years now with our other chairs that are still going strong and were less than half the price. This chair was a good height, folding table was handy though hard on the hands to lock into place, the seat made a lot of noise when sitting in and getting out of and was awkward to carry. Over all this product didn't even last one summer of easy use, and was a huge waste of our money. I will be trying to contact the seller to see what I can do about a refund. Don't want a replacement.

I really do like these chairs, ordered 2, will use them camping, etc.What I don't like is the fact that there is one spacer missing on one chair, where the table and the chair leg fit together, and I will eventually have to replace the rivet with a screw, when the existing rivet bends/breaks.I have tried to leave feedback on this problem with Amazon but.... can't seem to find the right link to do so, always get the Thanks page, after leaving packaging feedback.The chairs are very heavy-duty, will really work well when we do go camping/horse back riding and all the things we use these kind of chairs for.Just wish the rivets were better and the spacer was there, for this will cause me problems later on.

Excellent quality, very well made. Light weight but sturdy.. Took quite a while to get here, but well worth the wait.
