Is the arch sturdy by itself or do you need to tape it to the wall/ceiling?

The arch is just holding the balloon. Need other tools to help hang on the wall or ceiling.

How long do the balloons last ? Can the Garland be done the night before and stay the next day ?

The balloons are not helium filled. We pumped our balloons the night before, filled super large construction bags with them, then transported them to our shower venue. We attached the balloons to the garland at the venue. So, if you are inflating and partying in the same place, it would definitely be fine to assemble the night before.

is the 18” ballon black ?

The 18-inch balloon is dark green.
