This is my second one. The wood bottom does crack due to being wet a lot. However I love them!

This brush has been wonderful. It is getting a little smooshed, but the benefit far outweighs this. I read the instructions and by actually drying this flipped onto its back, there has not been the first sign of mold or mildew in this brush and I use it several times a week since I bought it a couple of months ago. I thought I liked my previous vegetable brush by a big name brand, but its plastic bristles and base that the bristles fit into helped make that orange mildew form at the base of the bristles almost constantly--dish detergent every time would not help so had to throw it out. Highly recommend this brush! The handle feels so good in your hand, too.

Lola brushes I've bought before were larger. These brushes are not the same as I had expected. They are more "Lolita" than "Lola."Update, the Lola people have contacted me and are sending larger brushes. That is great customer service,

Perfect size, comfortable grip, perfect stiffness, head is replaceable, and head can go in the dishwasher without splitting (I've run it through once). Extremely happy with this purchase.

I was expecting the larger Lola brush I had used years ago. So be aware that this is the 2" version not the original 3", they are very different. The video shows the 3" brush, not this one. After 4 months of use, it started to fall apart. I cleaned my dishes every day with it. I started to wonder if I had bought a counterfeit. It just didn't seem like the "Made in Germany" quality I remembered. So I went directly to their website and bought the 3" version. As you can see in the photos, the bristles are shorter and thicker. This one would work for vegetables. So when you search, put in large Lola brush.

Once upon a time not so long ago, this type of bristle brush for use in the kitchen was commonly available. Not anymore it seems. I avoid using scrubby sponges since the sponge is a bacteria factory and I can do without that. This brush works well on the dishes and pots. When I need to replace it I will buy this again.

The bristles on this brush have bent and now are pretty useless.

I have been using an ancient LoLo brush that has lost most of its bristles. I love the fact that it is not made of plastic .

It is good that it is all natural!

Smaller than expected. Not sure it will last--the bristles seem somewhat brittle. Will see how it holds up! Happy with the ethics and eco conscious aspect of this company and product.
