Doesn't work with AmazonBasics lamps
I tried to use these to convert an e14 socket to a standard base, using TCP and AmazonBasics lamps. Confirmed the socket worked with an e14 LED, confirmed the lights worked in a standard base fixture. But when used to try and convert the lamp size they didn't work at all.I tried lifting the copper base inside and confirmed it was making a connection by screwing in and removing the bulb, and seeing the base was flattened again. Tried all 5 with 2 different tested bulbs.Good idea but no execution. Bummer!
