Small size; perfect for small job fixturing... Good size for standard wooden toothpick tip duckbill
These are much smaller than a standard alligator clamp and that's exactly what I needed. They also seem well built, sturdy, but don't require a ton of effort to open. They were perfect for my application.I needed to hold a very small diameter wire to a terminal which barely protruded from a plastic connector. The terminal ends are molded into the part and there's very little access. I broke the end off of 2 flat wooden tooth picks and I super glued them like a duckbill inside the clamp. The toothpicks fit very nicely in the clamp jaws; almost as if the clamp was made specifically for that size. The wooden jaws can be very close to the soldering position without the risk of sticking to the solder. The toothpicks also allow the actual clamp to be a little farther from the work so it's out of the way. I don't think I would have been able to solder these connectors without the aid of these clamps or similar.

Perfect size
We used these to connect to model rockets. Because of the size and weight, they behave themselves when attached to the rocket motor igniters.

Handy!
I use these little clips as heat shields when soldering transistor leads to circuit boards. There are certain little transistors that are sensitive to heat, and these clips work like magic to absorb the heat before it reaches the component.

Expensive for what they are, but they work great for soldering
I use these as heat sinks when soldering guitar electronics and other smallish electronics. They work well for that.I also use them on a couple of pieces of 22ga stranded wire as clip in leads for testing adding things into guitar circuits like different capacitor values or types, or different types of treble bleed circuits, or other modifications. They seem a little bit expensive for what they are at about 10 for $8, but that is shipped prime so I guess I get that.I do really like them. However, they are not copper, just maybe copper plated. A magnet attracts rather than repels them. Pure copper is diamagnetic, meaning it is repelled by magnets.

Buy your shaving heads from reputable source!
Clips are OK, but shaving heads are NOT a replacement for the current shaving head despite claims otherwise. I am not at all satisfied!

Worked perfectly!
Used for a skin tag that I had trouble getting removed without surgery. Kept it on for a few days and tag fell off. Great product.

not 100% plated!
one clip had no plating on the contact surface of the pad!
