I already had one of these for years and years, but needed another to add to my "Go to Class" bag. They are perfect for pre-piecing appliques together. so much easier and safer to put it together on this sheet than on the actual fabric. You can easily see through the sheet to the pattern that I tape to the back side so as to stop movement. Makes the project a snap. BUY IT!

good if you need large sheet
This worked perfectly for me as I was making a large appliqué quilted wall art project. My only complaint is that it was wrinkled and took a lot of pressing to remove folds. I also found that a long firm paper roll was the best way to store the sheet to prevent folds again by being stored in its original flat plastic package.

Poor quality, after 4 uses, ripped apart twice. "Translucent" not Transparent
This sheet is very thin and fragile. I used it 4 times, being very lite-handed and careful, and a hole ripped in it twice. This material DOES NOT live up to the hype that it will last 3-5 years with normal usage. It is not worth $2, let alone over $18. This is Teflon material. It is thin and "translucent," not transparent. That is, when you place this sheet directly on your article, you can see about 80% - 85% of the underlying item through the sheet. When you lift the sheet off, it is a milky white color.
