Works with craftsman lt 1000
Fits my craftsman lt 1000 from 2006. Make sure you get the right teeth count. Also like that the teeth are metal and not nylon! Hoping this will last another twenty years.

intek 20.0 single cylinder fit/works perfect
Hurricane Idalia putthe mower under 3 feet of salt water. I was suprised when Amazon told the they would have a starter the next day. Even more suprised when they actually did it....and it fit and worked perfectly. Oil was half salt...sort of looked like burnt taffy.....Carburator waz siezed on full throttle..... but the new starter did work perfectly. I drove the mower half a lap around the beach...then the drive cogs melted and blew. Had to drag the mower back with the truck... Ordering more parts today; looking for that vender.

Sprocket exploded after 3 starts so save the old one , other than that works fine.

Absolute, complete, total garbage.
If I could give this thing negative stars, I absolutely would. -Gear on this unit is 1/16" taller than OEM starter, so had to enlarge mounting holes so it could sit lower to not jam against the flywheel. -Gear OD is 1/16" larger than OEM, so had to shim it out so it would engage flywheel instead of slamming against the bottom. Icing on the cake is that the gear exploded after 2nd use. Seems to be pot metal, not any stronger than paper mache or particle board.
