Wonderful, entertaining and thought provoking.

I am better for reading this book.These novellas have taught me so much and helped me to increase the depth of my studies into the women in the lineage of Christ. I am so thankful for the learning that I have gained because of the cultural things I learned from this book and the things it made me think or ask that I then went and explored further in Scripture.I was emotional in each novella and felt so connected to these amazing, human woman. What a blessing that we have them as examples to look to. Such a beautiful book that I recommend to everyone I come across.

Don't skip over this book of stories!!!! You will not be disappointed!I was a huge Francine Rivers fan before reading the Lineage of Grace. However, nothing could have prepared me for the amazing "lump-in-my-throat" awe I felt as I read about these women. These stories are beautifully written and made me crave the relationships and faith they have with God. I was able to read the 1st story aloud to my twin nieces who are about the age of Tamar as she becomes a new bride. It was really neat to compare the historical aspect of that time in contrast to the girls' lives today. Plus, it was awesome to have a "story-form" of the scripture, albeit "fictional", to bring us all closer to God. The girls were just as addicted to the pages as I was. My personal favorite was the story about Rahab and I read this as I completed a Bible Study called "One In a Million" (Pricilla Shirer). I gained a LOT more from that study because of this book; A truer understanding of the multi-layeredness of God's planning and power. I feel like the Bible is full of these "new" stories waiting to be read. Lineage of Grace make you want to run, grab a Bible and find other amazing women to read about. Thank you Francine, for making these beautiful women in the lineage of Christ come alive!PS As is the case with Redeeming Love, you will want 2 copies of this book because you will want to share it over and over with everyone you know. My mom, sister-in-laws, Bible Study friends, friend who lost loved one etc...

I heard about this book through a friend years ago and not even sure how I came across this book recently, but decided to find online and read the first few pages for free and was hooked so hurried up and ordered. I'm still on the first novella but I'm loving it and excited to dig in. Love the extra seek and find section for short studies. I ordered used through a bookstore vendor called WonderBooks with excellent packaging and tracking and even received it sooner than expected time date.

This is a wonderful series! When you buy the series in the one book, there are studies between each book. My book club is loving this. The studies are absolutely excellent!

This is a lovely edition of The Lineage of Grace. I am in a book club and someone mentioned the print was small in the paperback one they bought. I took a chance and purchased this edition and I’ve had no problem with the font size. I had hoped to regift it to a fellow book lover however shortly after opening it I inadvertently placed it on the counter where there was a drop of water. Unfortunately it stained the beautiful linen cover. Just something to be aware of. I am a neat freak so it has bothered me that I marred the books appearance before even beginning to read it :(

This book is fabulous! Compelling storylines puts you in the times of the Bible. You can tell this author has done her research about the times and the people in which she’s writing.
