MQ Mini Aquarium Heater 25W/200W Betta Fish Tank Heater with Digital LED Display and External Thermostat Controller, for Fish Tank 3-50 Gallon

It’s not accurate for a 37 gallon tank place just below powerhead.First one just quit working.Second one is struggling can’t raise the temp to treat tank.Poor heater the temp is never accurate to my two thermometers one front bottom left other back top right and those are never the same as heater and really aren’t the same, this is probably a 150 watt max.My fish room is very well externally heated also so it’s not having to raise the temps much.Find another product.

Product came in a box with a broken seal and the label said new but the casing was cracked and the display was scratched to hell. Hesitant to plug it in, did so with caution and the damn thing would never start to warm the water. My tank is at 70 degrees and the damn thing wouldn’t come on and read that the water was 70 degrees (Set it to 82). Trying to set the temperature is crazy because the directions are vague but “seem” like they are straight forward (until you attemp to set it).The product is total trash. Idk how some people on here said that it worked wonderfully, but I would never take the chance on this product again. Total waste of time and money. PERIOD!

This item worked great until a few days ago. I didn't notice when the light on this heater started flashing an error message. The error message is e2 and has probably been flashing for days. I checked the water temp in my fishtank which has tropical fish and the water is to cold so I know the heater is not working at all. My fish have already started dying. Upset doesn't begin to describe how I feel. DO NOT TRUST THIS BRAND,

This unit is great. It keeps my tank at constant temperature. I love that it displays the temperature of the tank so a separate temperature gauge is not needed. The only draw back is that light on it is very bright and the tank is in my bedroom. Still, I would buy again.

Wasn’t sure when I purchased item but I thought I couldn’t beat the price. Turns out I was right and it’s great. Good price, quality, efficient, and my fish play hide and seek behind it lol. Love the digital display, bud improvement from the generic that came in the tank kit.

I ordered this heater to replace a Penn Plax 25 watt heater that had stopped working. I read the manual MULTIPLE times and still can not get the water heater to change from 82 degrees. I would like this heater more if I could figure out h8w to change it. Also, it is very big for a small tank. The positive is that the LCD is easy to read and the on/off light is bright and noticeable.

Don't bother with this so called heater does not work,This is the second heater the first one did not work either. Ive 9 fish tanks currently set up im well versed in heaters.I was trying to use this heater in a Hospital tank that currently has 2 residents. WHERE water should be 81 it is currently below room temperature of 72. These guys are already in trouble and don't need a useless heater that refuses to work.

Worked great before it stopped . Looked great , felt great but didn’t work great. It burned out keeping less than 10Gallons heated . Do not recommend . These things supposed to last a long time . I have a heater that’s lasted 30 some years . No dice on this !

I am completely amazed honestly, I have a 28 year old red-eared slider turtle and he never had a heater in his water before. We got this to see how he would like heated water, and he went ballistic. He’s super energetic and happy now! We had a lower wattage before because he was in a smaller tank of course. Now the only complaint I have is that it needs something to seriously anchor it other than just suckers to hold it in place, because my turtle turned into an idiot and lifted it out of the water and it ended up melting some of the plastic and burning out one of the elements. One morning we found him happy and comfortable with the heater ON HIS BACK.So, we upgraded his tank on the 1st of April, and ordered another heater at a higher wattage. It arrived within 2 days! I was amazed with the speed of the delivery! I had asked for standard delivery, and it said it’d show up the next week! So I was hugely happy with the speed of the delivery. As for the turtle, he’s energetic, excited and happy 24/7. We ended up figuring out a way to anchor the heater. We used a small plexiglass container, drilled holes in it and attached suckers to keep it at the bottom, placed the heater on the top, with a tube (to keep the elastic off the elements) and an elastic running through the tube to hook onto the bottom of the container so it stays in place. He’s been trying to bite through the elastic and claw at it to destroy it so he can screw with the heater, but I think he finally gave up! But overall, I’m extremely happy with the product!

Works well using it for a turtle tank, originally had a cheep submersible one that had no temperature setting didn't know it failed until we cleaned the tank. Easy to install stick it to the side of the tank, easy to set the auto temp with a button, and didn't take long to get the water up to temp. Has a great display to show current temp and a light to show when it is heating. Only wish was a way to turn off the temp display bright at night. Great purchase happy with it.

Updaying my review.....Returning this now that I've had it for less than a month and it's already defective. The temperature was inaccurate and off by 2 degrees to start, but since I had a temp controller I let that slide. Now it failed during the night last night. Good thing I have a temperature alarm, as it alerted me when the temp dropped to 76. Tank runs at 80/81. I have rams and its -30 here right now. Who knows how low the temp would have dropped without the alarm going off and waking me. The temperature on the device said 82, which was not the case at all. I double checked with another thermometer to make sure it wasn't my temp controller that was defective. Also the led light that shows the temp is too bright. My aquarium is in my room so I had to actually turn it to face the back side of the tank because it's that annoyingly bright. Glad to be getting rid of this garbage heater.

This is a great product for the price I paid. Love the programmable temperature, and it warms very quickly in my 65 gallon tank. Good quality and looks good too.1 YEAR UPDATE:Heater still working great ... however display has stopped working. Kind of a pain if you need to adjust temperature, which thankfully I never touch so not an issue for me. Still can't complain for what I paid and still recommend.

Love this unit!! It heats up my tank easily and the digital readout is fantastic. My tank is now easier to maintain with worry free temperatures 24/7. It activates when the temperature falls below the setting automatically. I just plug it in, input the temp setting and it does the rest! Price point for this product was amazing!!
